Our first time there. First time having cob salad. First time having Mahi tacos. Very quaint and quiet. Immediately greeted and brought to a table. 2 glasses of water came seconds later. I ordered a tea, and to my surprise the waitress asked; "lemon, or no lemon". It impressed me because normally at other restaurants, I have to request "NO" lemon and "HOPE", they heard me. My husband ordered a Cobb saladto start, and chicken parm and pasta for entrée. A very large Tender and juicy portion of chicken. The sauce was fresh, and full of flavor. I ordered Mahi tacos. The Mahi was also, very juicy, and tender, fresh slaw, all laying perfectly inside a tortilla wrap. I say perfectly because nothing fell out of the back of the tortilla. Again, impressive. It wasn't soggy, it had a good flavor overall. It came with a small sauce, i still am unsure of what it is exactly, but when i drizzled it onto the fish taco.. Wow!!. It came with a side of rice. The rice was cooked to perfection. The best part, was the Cobb salad. Layered across a bed of iceberg lettuce; tomatos beans, corn, boiled egg, chicken, crispy tortilla strips. Served with a house made Italian dressing. Very refreshing indeed. My husband and I were fighting over the last bite. For the quality and the portion size, the cost is well worth it. We will definitely be returning. They even have dinners you can take home and do it yourself. Kinda like publix aprons dinners. Only better. They change the menu up at the beginning of each month. My only suggestion would be to briefly run a sampler at the beginning of the month also. That way we can try the "chef specials" of the month all at one sitting. Thank you for bringing back hope on dining...
Read moreDinner Revolution is without doubt the finest restaurant EVER to come to Vero Beach! I have never been disappointed with anything that I’ve ordered which means I’ve enjoyed almost everything from the menu. A new menu was introduced September 1st that is even more exciting! Tonight I was with six others. Two in the party went to the Culinary Institute of America, one was a 36 year “hands-on” restaurant owner and I was a professional waiter, being trained by a French captain in American plate, French service as well as Russian service. We each ordered a different entree. The presentation was beautifully appealing with the sizes almost overwhelming. Everyone sampled from each other’s plate. While we were all pleased with what we each ordered, I kept hearing “next time I getting that”! Being a Miami native, I’ve lived in Vero for over 20 years. My biggest complaint since moving here is the lack of training given to the servers. Not so at Dinner Revolution. Avery & Tyson were the best waiters I’ve experienced in Vero. I tell people that a restaurant can serve great food but if the service isn’t good, I will never go back. And I mean it! These two young men served us so well, I was the only person who watched how they worked. Not once did anyone in our group (of seven) need to look for our waiter. I can’t say enough of my excitement of having dined tonight with two highly trained former chefs from California, a restaurant owner from New York who oversaw everything and the highly trained waiter (me) . If anyone were to ever say that the presentation, taste or portion size or service wasn’t adequate, I’d say what Judge Judy would say: is there something ...
Read moreMy husband and I tried Dinner Revolution for lunch today, and we were blown away by the experience! This place really impressed us with the quality, the flavors, and the thought that goes into their menu. One thing we loved is that half of the menu rotates monthly. Such a genius idea to keep things fresh and exciting.
As appetizers, we shared the crab rangoon wontons and the Baja enchilada soup. Both were incredible! The wontons were crispy and flavorful, and the soup was creamy, hearty, and full of chicken, corn, and black beans. They looked so good that we completely forgot to take pictures before diving in.
For my meal, I had the French Dip, and it was outstanding. The baguette was airy, crunchy, and so fresh. The cheese melted perfectly, the roast beef portion was generous, and the dipping sauce on the side was rich and flavorful. My husband ordered the Tex-Mex Bowl with blackened chicken and steak, and he couldn’t stop talking about it. The steak was juicy, the chicken was well seasoned, and the portions were big. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious.
On top of the amazing food, the service was excellent. Our server was kind, professional, and very attentive. The restaurant itself made a great impression as soon as we walked in. Spotless, fresh smelling, and very put together. It didn’t smell like old rags like some places do; it smelled clean and inviting. I even used the bathroom to wash my hands, and it was impeccable, which gave me even more confidence in how well they run things.
We left completely full, very happy, and already planning our next visit. If you haven’t tried Dinner Revolution yet, I highly...
