Torch + Kiln — Attraction in Verrado

Just finished the Beginning Silversmith class at Torch + Kiln. Never in a million years would I have thought I would be making my own silver and stone ring. But I did! Natascha and Billy are absolutely amazing instructors who take the time to make sure you are comfortable with what they just taught ensuring your success. The studio is so well organized and they have anything and everything you could possibly need to make your silversmith dream projects a reality. At the beginning of the class you’ll think there’s no way I’ll be able to make a ring; but for anyone hesitant about signing up - just do it. It truly does come together beautifully at the end. You will finish the class with a beautiful ring that you made! And the satisfaction of making a piece start to finish is truly priceless. The gallery run by Corinna is amazing as well offering a variety of handmade jewelry, glassware and decorative pieces. There’s something for everyone. After completing the eight week class everyone at Torch + Kikn becomes more like friends than just instructors. I’ll definitely be signing up for more class modules in the future. I will probably be raving about my experience until I come back for another class. We have never done anything like this before and I am so happy we did! Billy is a great teacher and very thorough with his explanations. We did the sterling silver ring class and it took about 2 hours as planned. We got to decide the ring size and the style, then we got to do everything! The class was very safe and the space was very clean. And the best part? Our rings came out so amazing and we did it all by ourselves!!! I loved spending time with my husband who had a great time, too. A truly unforgettable experience! My fiancé and I went to Torch + Kiln to create our wedding rings, and it was such a special experience from start to finish. Our instructor Billy, made us feel comfortable and confident every step of the way, walking us through the process with so much care and attention to detail. It was hands-on, personal, and so meaningful to craft the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives together.
