The service was 5, but the food was 3 at best. When I order a chicken parmigiana from an authentic Italian restaurant I want freshness, bold flavor, crispy edges…I received what seemed like a grilled piece of chicken with no breading and the spaghetti didn’t have enough sauce. My husband ordered a pizza and he said the dough turned out a little soft and could have been cooked longer. However, they do use a wood fire oven for the pizza, which definitely enhances the flavor. Last, I made two orders of cannolis. The pastry shells were ‘precooked’ and store bought (noooo) and not made fresh in-house. And, instead of a traditional ricotta/mascarpone cheese, it was stuffed with what seemed like ice cream and was melting on my plate. When you’re charging premium prices, it’s always best that the food correlates. Although disappointed with the food, it was not a total bust. The restaurant is located off of Main Street in the beautiful community of Verrado and was clean and inviting. Right outside there is a beautiful park and fountain that you can relax at. They also have daily happy hour. I would highly suggest this location for a beverage and to enjoy the atmosphere, but not for the food.

Well let me share first that I had heard a lot of great things about this place. Unfortunately, this wasn't wholly my experience. First we had to wait a bit for a table and I didn't understand why nor did anyone explain or offer updates.☹ When finally seated the service was good. We first ordered the garlic bread which was quite good but it was not bread.. It was garlic bread toppings on a pizza crust. We then ordered the grazie salad or the house salad without the red peppers. It unfortunately came with the red peppers. We did pick them out. The salad was also very good. We combined their balsamic vinaigrette with their gorgonzola dressing and it was out of this world. Our disappoint came with the entrees. ☹ The lasagna was ok. Really quite average. I had such high hopes. My chicken parm was pounded to less than a quarter inch thick, way overcooked and was totally rubberized. I couldn't eat it. My family has come here for pizza several times and it was fantastic. Maybe we should just stick to the pizza. I was wholly disappointed with my experience the other night.😞

We love the wood fired pizza here and come so often the Pizza Man knows just how we like it cooked. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, but there seems to be a high turnover and some of our favorites aren't here anymore, but we like to get to know the new ones too. They have great summer specials during the week which made us frequent diners here. The management is always helpful. If the Owner is there, he usually comes and greets each table which is nice. The food has always been good. I would love to see more pasta options on the menu. The have great dessert calzones made with a buttery flaky dough and cooked in the wood fired oven. The wine selection is nice. The location is fabulous, especially outdoor dining in beautiful AZ weather. They have a small bar area with a TV. They have good happy hour specials. This would be a fine place to come if you were dining alone or with a group. They have free Wi-fi. Check them out! Enjoy.

First time coming here, wanting to try something on family night and really don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I would not return to this restaurant. I will start with the positives, the server we had was extremely nice. I told her my preference in drink and she had an amazing old fashioned made. I had two! But, the food lacks heavily. We ordered the Al Fresca pizza and the crust was like eating a cracker. The cheese was non existent, but maybe we ordered the wrong one. There were other tables that ordered pepperoni pizzas and they seemed to be more pizza style and inviting with the cheese pull you get excited about with having pizza. We also ordered the chicken Alfredo. Pasta sauce was beyond flavorful. Most delicious dish we had. But the portion was like off a kids menu. The portion was so small. My daughter loved her Cesar salad and my husband enjoyed his drinks as well. We were sat next to the bathroom and the smell of chemicals was overwhelming. We also witnessed a worker cleaning off a table spraying cleaner on the salt and pepper shakers. Seemed non observant and inconsiderate. It was also so quiet you can hear other people’s conversations. Just overall disappointed. Especially with a 3% charge for using credit card. This made me laugh cause the 5 dollars to make me use my card made me take out of the tip. Again, waitress was great but overall disappointed and won’t be back. I would not recommend if looking for a wood...

Third time at this restaurant and have been disappointed all three times. There will not be a fourth. First two times I ordered the eggplant parmigiano. The outside edges were hot and the middle was cold. I guess using the microwave or reheating premade dishes doesn't work. The other problem was the eggplant was like mush. Had no texture. I guess it was gravely overcooked. The third visit I ordered a salad with shrimp to be brought out with all of the other meals. 20 minutes after I ordered, the salad was placed on the table, minus the shrimp. I called the waitress to the table and let her know there were no shrimp on the salad. She sent it back to the chef. Another 20 minutes went by and everyone's meals were served minus my salad. During the total wait even my empty drink glass sat empty. No one ever came to the table to do any refills. I finally got up, leaving my family with a credit card and walked out. Like I said. I will not be back to this restaurant. The owners should realize that the restaurant is THEIRS, and not their employees. An employee can always get another job but an owner always gets the bad end of the stick. Bad service and bad food are not a selling point to gain customers. To bad there is not another Italian restaurant close by to put Ciao Grazie...

Since we moved here about 4 years ago we've been at Grazies a lot of times for pizza and basically have had good service and no complaints about the food until the other night. Took my first couple of bites of pizza and it wasn't hot, it was barely warm and it had a very heavy charcoal taste to it and I asked my wife how hers tasted and she said the same. I lifted the remainder of the pizza up to look at it and it was 50% baldly burnt on the bottom. I told the waitress about it and she said the way their ovens cook sometimes they do get a little burnt to which I replied I realize there are sometimes some burn spots but this is overkill on how much is burnt and how bad and she said there was nothing she could do about it. So I told her that I wanted to talk to the manager about it and she came back a couple of seconds later and looked at me and basically said the manager said that's the way it is and he doesn't want to talk to you. I'll be polite and not say what I want to say about the manager but that is the last time that we will ever eat there and I will make sure that I spread this around to all of our friends and everybody else that I talk to or communicate with via Facebook so they know about what happened and why they...
