I came here on April 24th to receive a french pedicure and french full set manicure. My husband also joined me for a pedicure. We both had terrible experiences. My full set was rushed and done very poorly. I left around 3:30pm and had to return within 3 hours on the SAME day! I will attach pictures showing that the polish was already coming off within 3 hours. I was leaving for a vacation the next morning, so I needed to get back to the salon before they closed.
This is absolutely unacceptable given the price and the waste of time to have to return. The manager said that he didn't think the UV machines were fully charged, which seemed like an excuse to me. The same nail tech added another coat to my nails. She didn't apologize and clearly couldn't have cared any less. At the end she said wash your hands and you are done. She didn't reapply cuticle oil, lotion or anything.
My husband's pedicure was also rushed and done poorly. The lady cut his nails down too low and two weeks later it is still hurting him.
As an Air Force Physician, I will be sure to spread the word that this is not a quality nor reliable nail salon. Please do yourself a favor and visit one of the other nail salons conveniently located in Verrado instead.
UPDATE: Contacted nail salon on May 14th, as they asked me to contact them in their response below, to better assist me. I left my phone number with the receptionist and she let me know that the manager would call me back later in the day. They never...
Read moreI have visited this shop a total of 4 times since they opened and only my very first visit was a good experience. They advertise on their services menu that they do acrylic and builder gel manicures. The second visit I went in and asked for an acrylic set (asked for the same thing the first visit and was convinced to try TAP gel instead and I didn’t care for it). Well the lady goes to do my “acrylic” set and pulls out the TAP gel. I stopped her and she said tap was better and it would be the same price even though the TAP gel is advertised slightly higher. Well that set lasted a week before it started lifting. Now this current visit on 7/9/25, I asked for builder gel and once again they said TAP gel overlay is better and pushed for me to do that instead. I should have walked out but since I was already there I just gave in and went for it. Well my TAP gel started chipping and lifting on several nails within a few hours. I went back today to get it taken off because I’m going on vacation and don’t want to deal with the stress of what if they break again after they fix it. I asked for a refund, they said no and offered a 20% off for the next visit. I didn’t take it because I will not be returning. I will be letting my friend in the area know the poor quality of service that I experienced with them. I took a loss of $60 and now have no fresh manicure...
Read moreI came in with a friend for a manicure and pedicure, and while my nails turned out great, the experience was unacceptable. When I sat down, the technician looked at both of our feet, sighed, rolled her eyes, and said, “Ugh.” She then picked up my foot with two fingers, said, “Wow, you have huge calluses,” and made a disgusted face. Throughout the entire service, she barely touched my feet and acted like she didn’t want to be doing the job.
After paying for an acrylic full set and a delux pedicure for a total of 120 and a 15% tip, I brought this up to the manager, making it clear that I had no complaints about the work itself but was upset with how I was treated. Instead of listening, he repeatedly interrupted me, insisted there was “no way” she would have done that, and claimed I must have misheard. However, the only things she said were service-related—I didn’t mishear anything. The manager kept talking over me until I was forced to apologize just to end the conversation, saying, “I am very sorry, I’m sure I just heard wrong. I am so sorry.”
The person who did my hands did a great job, but the way I was treated—both by the technician and the manager—was unprofessional and dismissive. I will...
