We came out to Verrado this morning to hike the steps and had intention on stopping for coffee somewhere nearby. With the wind and such we decided to look for breakfast nearby in hopes it would die down while we ate. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Haymaker nearby. It apparently opened about a week ago. You’d never know it because they honestly had it all pretty dialed in. For a late breakfast on a Thursday it was pretty busy. We chose to sit at the bar. We were greeted quickly and our drink orders taken. We both opted for a coffee of course and waters. They brought over some creamer and a little vanilla syrup as they don’t have packets. They use four leaf coffee and the flavor was great. Not acidic and hot. We decided on the All American and Cowboy breakfasts. Mine with bacon and his sausage. We also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy. Which ended up being the highlight of our meal. I try biscuits and gravy every time we go to breakfast and leave typically disappointed. The only flavor consistent seams tp be flour. Biscuits over cooked. Awful…..not at Haymaker though. The biscuit was huge, fluffy and light and the gravy full of flavor and didn’t deal heavy and dry. I’d come back just for that. So dang good.. service was the only thing keeping today’s visit from being five stars for me. It wasn’t horrible, but sitting at the side of the bar seemed to be their dead zone. It was hard to get their attention and a few times we had to wait for quite a bit to get a coffee refill etc. Lviv’s is cozy and I loved that they had so many windows. It was bright and made it feel larger. I’d definitely come back.

Upon my initial visit to the new establishment, I was unfortunately greeted by an unpleasant odor reminiscent of sewer gas. While ordering breakfast, I noticed a significant reduction in the portion size of my omelette compared to what I am accustomed to receiving at the Goodyear location, which I have been patronizing since its opening. Upon inquiring about the disparity in portion sizes, I was informed by the manager that the Goodyear location was not adhering to corporate protocols. In response, I expressed my belief that the Goodyear location had been consistently delivering satisfactory portions for an extended period. Undeterred, I decided to return for a second breakfast and give the new establishment another chance. However, upon several bites into my omelette, I discovered a long, dark hair lodged within the dish. I promptly presented the hair to the manager, who expressed her sincere apologies and removed it from the bill, which I greatly appreciated. In light of this incident, I suggested that the kitchen staff consider wearing hair nets to prevent similar occurrences in the future. While the manager acknowledged that hair nets are indeed used in the kitchen, I ultimately decided to continue patronizing the Goodyear location.

Well I guess you can say we are regulars we go to this restaurant 3 to 4 times a month for breakfast usually first thing. We have been very pleased with the overall performance of the restaurant up until last week that we feel needs to be noted. Unfortunately things do happen last week upon arrival and sitting down we were told that the burners were not working and they had no idea how long it would take to get them fixed okay things happen and we left and went somewhere else. So the other day we decided to go back because the previous experiences have been good and the food had been cooked to order so we thought we'd give another shot because the burner situation was just a freaky situation we thought. Well we ordered our food and when it came out our bacon basically look like a lump of charcoal all stuck together black my eggs ordered over medium, might as well been hard boiled in addition to the overcooking both the bacon and eggs taste like fish the same with my wife's meal. We notified the server she handled the situation kind of well she wanted us to put the bacon in her hands which should not be the proper protocol hopefully she washed her hands after touching it she should have put it on a plate, actually they should have took both our plates and redid the whole meal but that was not offered we did get new bacon that was fine. We had met the manager earlier and was trying to get her attention for some time but she was extremely busy telling her life story to some other customers, maybe she should spend more time making sure the food is being properly prepared versus getting into 10 minute conversations I know she's trying to build a community there but if you don't have good food it's just not going to happen. Finally we got her attention she came over and we explained the situation and we told her that the server took care of it as far as the bacon was concerned. The manager said she was going to go check on the kitchen she did not come back, did not offer us a complimentary meal a discount or anything and I that's the biggest thing we walked away was things happen and they could have done a better job in taking care of us on that...

From the moment I had the pleasure of dining at Haymaker Verrado, I can confidently say it's a fantastic addition to our community. Everyone is greeted with a warm welcome and an inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a delightful meal. It is now a place I look forward to visiting at least once a week.

The menu is impressive, offering a range of delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every dish I've tried has been consistently tasty, making it a go-to spot for any meal of the day. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a savory dinner, Haymaker Verrado delivers.

What truly sets this place apart, however, is the exceptional service. The staff genuinely go out of their way to ensure every guest feels valued. Manager Christy stands out as one of the most welcoming people I've encountered in the industry. She treats everyone like family, and her passion for hospitality is evident.

Brittani, our favorite bartender, never fails to impress. She not only serves up great drinks but also adds a personal touch that makes each visit special. It's refreshing to find a place where both the food and the service make you feel good inside.

I highly recommend Haymaker Verrado to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends, you won’t be...
