This place is a really great casual hangout. Great small batch beer in a comfortable atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and Dave, one of the brewers, loves to talk about their beers. The bartender, Mare, recommended the Rose of Sharon as easy drinking. I tried samples of the Hazy Situation, very unique, the Dragonās Lair, salty and smooth, Road Rash IPA, another smooth one, and finally Me Daās Irish Stout. Dave poured us a sample from the cask to compare with from the draught and it definitely changed the flavor profile considerably. He said that the Dragonās Lair had a good bit of salt in it and originally was going to have cucumber, but it already tasted so good they didnāt add it. We had a great time having conversation, some chips, and ultimately some dinner from the food truck. They had good mood lighting, plenty of tables and a long bar, merchandise, foosball table, darts, board games, cigars for outside, and garage doors to open in good weather. Small parking lot and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is conveniently located in the downtown/old town Fredericksburg area so itās nice to be able to spend a full day down here and enjoy different food/brewery venues. This brewery doesnāt offer flights. Their version of a flight is to offer half pours for about $3.50-$4.00 (regular pours are about $8.00). The sours here are good and very unique. The radler was yummy. There is a ping pong table and some table top games offered. The vibe is very laid back and causal. There is no wait service so you have to go up to the āorder hereā area of the bar to order your drinks and carry them back to your table- Hard to do when you get 4-5 half pours to make your own āflight.ā The bartenders were cool and helpful and the bussing service was very quick and no empty cups were left on the tables for more than 5 minutes. Overall a good experience. Will come back again now that we know which beers we enjoy and which we could...

A+ on revitalizing an old downtown structure for the brewery. Very cool spot. If you like stouts, porters and DIPA's this is your place. Not a great variety of other types of beers and only a few that hit the mark. They regularly do limited release's of sours which seem to have a loyal following.
By all means try it out for yourself but as an avid craft beer drinker around the area, I feel like this spot is too niche for a certain crowd. But as mentioned above, if you're into those certain types of beers, this is definitely a good spot for you. I personally feel there are better options in the area for better beer...
