We could not have asked for a better wedding venue or planning experience than with the Optimist Club and Shannon! Working with Shannon was one of the very best parts of planning our big day — she and her team also helped with day-of coordination and logistics and were kind, detail oriented, and generous with their time and support.

This venue truly is the best-kept secret in the Oceanside/Vista area. From day one, when we went to tour the venue, Shannon made everything so easy and she just clicked with us - felt like she'd be an amazing person to work with. That feeling proved more than true. She guided us through the logistics, took care of so many details on the day of, and went above and beyond to make sure everything flowed perfectly for us.

Not only is the venue beautiful and flexible, allowing you to work with your own vendors and plan the day with insight and advice from Shannon's many years of experience, but it’s also a very reasonable price to rent the space with flexibility on the indoor/outdoor options.

We also love that the Optimist Club does so much charitable work in the local community. Can’t say enough good things - our wedding was perfect thanks to Shannon and her wonderful team! My husband and I recently had our wedding at Optimist Club. From our first time we toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our special day. Shannon was welcoming, professional, incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was meticulously planned and executed. The venue itself is breathtaking, we used its lush gardens for our ceremony and very spot was perfect for pictures. The lights over the dance floor were the perfect touch. My wife and I got married June 22nd 2023. We had our reception at the Vista Optimist Club. My experience was amazing. Shannon was so helpful and professional. The venue itself was immaculate. From the garden and gazebo to the grass lawn and outdoor lighting. We had the option to have an inside outside wedding but outside waa too beautiful to have it inside.The lay out is easy for your guests to get to and from there car. Having the parking lot close by made it easy for all my guests to arrive and leave without a problem. It's easy to find right off the freeway.
