I usually have good things to say about this shop but the owner Kodou went up on prices and if you go there sheās gonna do what she wants to do on your hair instead of what you want I literally watched a client come in and ask for kinky twist and she said she should get box braids or micros because her hair was too natural for the twist I got my hair done in micro braids and she stopped braiding down like she use to and my hair is already tangled and matted after one day and Iām sitting up as I write the review and Iām braiding all my braids down so they can last because I paid 200 dollars to get them done when it use to be 180 I though she was a nice person but I will not be going back I have to find another professional place to go when I got there she was in the bathroom and talking on the phone the place wasnāt cleaned from the night before so I was just waiting as she cleaned she called help and the lady that did the back of my hair wasnāt professional I have big and small braids all over the back of my head then she left for like a hour and a half to get something to eat and left me with the lady that didnāt do a professional job Iāll NEVER go back she has changed and I hate I paid for something I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt typically write reviews, but I thought Iād write about my experience here. I would not recommend. My biggest issue is that they donāt allow appointments and have a first come first serve model. Every other salon/stylist Iāve ever been to allows appointments, especially knowing people have busy schedules. I understand the concern about people booking and not showing up, but there could be a simple fix to this, such as charging a cancellation fee or requiring a deposit to book an appointment. Additionally, I had my mother share with them a picture of my hair length prior to choosing to come here to ensure they could style the way I wanted. They gave one recommendation to her just for me to show up and say they could not do what they had recommended. I would have never come here if I knew this in advance and would have gone to my regular hair braider who allows for appointments, provides timely service and is much more friendly. This was not a good experience for me. I chose to leave without being serviced after waiting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been going here for little over a year. All of my experiences have been different. It depends on who will be doing your hair. However, I really love how my braids turn out every single time (which is why i keep going) I think my braids are always neat and they last!!! they dip them, cut/burn the fly always. the price was $190 for small knotless braids. they do braid very tight so if you cannot handle that I would suggest not to go. I would suggest to bring a snack and water because you will be in the shop for 4+ hours. i also go early in the day and during the week because they are typically not busy. My latest appointment was with the owner and I did not like how I had to hold my braiding hair while she braided it. It made me feel like I was working for her when iām paying her to do my hair lol. then she would stop to eat or do something on her phone which was annoying and frustrating. but overall, they are good braiders. just make sure you are not afraid to speak for yourself on how you want your braids and if you...
