Starbucks — Restaurant in Waco

I’ve been a loyal customer at this Starbucks for over 11 years, and up until recently, I always enjoyed my drinks and the consistency of the quality. Unfortunately, in the last year, things have really gone downhill. About every other drink I order tastes awful—bitter, burnt, sour, or just completely off.

I called to politely bring this up, and the woman on the phone told me she had “never heard anyone complain about the flavor of the drinks.” That response alone was frustrating, because if you look at recent reviews, there are several people saying the exact same thing—the drinks don’t taste like they used to.

I usually order a blonde espresso drink, and when it tastes disgusting, I honestly wonder if they’re even using the blonde espresso or if they’re just making it with regular. The difference is very noticeable.

What concerned me most, though, was that during the call the woman admitted that the machines aren’t being cleaned every 5–6 espresso pulls like they’re supposed to be. That’s a huge quality and health issue, and it definitely explains the inconsistency in flavor.

To make matters worse, instead of reassuring me that they would improve, she actually suggested that I start going to a different location. I told her I really didn’t want to switch locations — after all, I’ve been coming here for more than a decade — but she offered no assurance that things would get better.

It’s disappointing to see a location I’ve supported for so long decline this much. I truly hope management takes customer feedback seriously and addresses the cleaning and training issues, because right now, the drinks are just not what...

Comments: The baristas, shift leads, and managers here are so nice and always brighten my day!! Not to mention they always do a great job, are kind, and quick to resolve any issues with a good attitude. This is my favorite place to get a white mocha and I go almost daily (hot WM 1 cup size up + extra pumps, whip, lots of caramel). The employees operate really well together and are usually fast even if there’s a long line.

NOTE: Always be kind to your barista/staff. If your drink turns out well or someone made a positive impression, show appreciation and consider tipping if you can. If not, a positive compliment goes a very long way in making someone’s day better. I don’t work there, I’m just a regular who has empathy for those in the service industry and I believe in highlighting great work wherever I see it.. Let the good vibes and good...

The manager stole a ton of money from me when we dated . Had an affair on her husband woth me without me knowing then had another affair with another indivoual simultaneously dating myself and her husband. Or x. Etc. The woman is a pathological liar and a scammer beyond words. I will be contacting corporate to make sure she's finally brought to justice. Theft . Fraud. Slander. And abuse to the degree she inflicted on those she made believe were her significant others and exclusive to just her and them/ myself.
