Cynergy Color Bar — Attraction in Wake Forest

• Update** The lovely and amazing Camirin and the Cynergy Salon Team reached out to me, and offered to fix my color at no charge!! 😮. This was an incredibly kind and generous offer on their part, considering my difficult hair, which I accepted. We agreed my red/brown hair was just being difficult, and it needed to be “bleach slapped” into submission lol 😂 😂 So the amazing Camirin came in ON HER DAY OFF, and made it PERFECT!!! I’m so stinking excited and tickled to finally have the color I’ve been wanting!! It was very generous on the part of Cynergy and Camirin to do this for me!!

This was my first time at Cynergy. My chose them because my niece used to go there for her coloring and it was always beautiful! She even had peacock color with purple, blue and green!!

My stylist was Camirin, very sweet and fun to talk to! She did an amazing job on my special request haircut: a strong undercut, with only a little longer hair on top. I’ve gotten so many compliments on this haircut!!!

The coloring, is fine but ultimately not exactly what I was hoping for. I don’t know if it’s my red undertones, or I didn’t choose the right toner… It Is NOT any fault of Camirin. She was very diligent in coloring out my hair with the purple stuff, checking several times, reapplying purple stuff, timing everything!! Though I never really saw the result, cause I had a towel on my head lol. And she used the toner I asked for: silver platinum. But it came out with strong purple undertones, that turned light pink, and now are a very light…tan? It doesn’t look bad! Just not what I wanted. I’ve been using my purple shampoo, and following instructions on Care.

It’s just not what I was hoping for, and it very well could be because of my natural strawberry blonde/red? Or I didn’t pick the right toner. But I wanted it like the first picture I’m sharing, and then I’ll share my hair result.

I wanted to make a color, cut and style appointment. I explained that I did not need a consultation of 20 minutes beforehand and an appointment was set up. Then I received a call back explaining that it was “Requied” that a Consultation was needed before I could get my initial appointment. It is not that I didn’t have the time to come in on an entirely different day to get this done, it is that I am an adult and I know what I want done for my appointment. Even if I didn’t know, they should understand that people are busy and it should be up to their client if they desire this Consultation beforehand. When I told the representative on the phone that I disagreed with this requirement…she began arguing with me that it os required. This “rule” is in my view a waste of time for some Clients and should be “Perl” not a “Requirement “ to be a new client with the salon. I would have loved being a new client there but after the bad way I was treated when I was opposed to this requirement, sadly I can...

It has been 5 years since I had my last balayage/hair color, I decided to have a balayage service but quite unsure if it is the right decision at this time. I tried to keep my hair natural as long as I can. I’ve done research through google and instagram and compared works or outcomes from various salons. Lauren was standing out!

It was my first time at Cynergy and my expectation was met. Lauren was very knowlegeable with what color suits me and gave a great advice on what we can do long term. Not only she is an excellent stylist, she is very accomodating too. I loved chatting with her. The experience was beautiful and fun! I left the salon happy and confident.
