Wake Forest Sprayground — Attraction in Wake Forest

This facility does not live up to any expectations. I reserved the "picnic area" weeks before my daughters birthday party and was NEVER informed that the spray ground was closed until I arrived the day OF, even though this facility was aware of the closing A WEEK PRIOR. All they cared about was keeping my money and basically it was not their problem. The staff who was working the Saturday of the party basically acted like it was not their problem and they refuse to refund my money (which was EXHORBANT for a small picnic area!) Fantastic hour for a toddler to get energy out. There is a bench but it is not guaranteed to be in the shade so bring a camping or beach chair (to put under some shady spots) and you’re set to go!

Covid update: there is usually a line to get in if you don’t get there a couple minutes before it opens. (Limiting people because of covid) So keep that in mind. Be flexible. We got there 10 minutes after opening and there were people in front of us so...

The sprayground is a lot of fun but a few things to know before you go... My phone signal always goes out when I get close so take a mental note of your last two turns. Also hours are posted online but I did not see the hours when we went so we only were able to play for 10 min and the water turned off and we did not know why. 😣 Sunblock and hats...
