Wake Forest Step Above Massage — Attraction in Wake Forest

I have gone to this place 3 times now and each time has been a good experience. My first 2 times were as a couples massage and the 3rd was a solo massage. My review is based on the quality of the massage and ease of booking. I contacted Sam for help booking and he was very informative and flexible. One of my therapist got hurt and I received calls and texts informing me and he was extremely flexible with other dates and times. The therapists are all very friendly and accommodating to your needs. They are very verbal about you expressing your needs before and during the massage so that they can accurately tend to you, whether it be ambiance, pressure or comfort. In my opinion: If you want light-medium, choose Chutima. She is very gentle and thorough. After 60 minutes, I came out feeling very relaxed, at ease on a cloud. If you want medium-firm, choose Alana. I expressed some pains I was having and man oh man…did she accurately find those trigger points lol! But after 90 minutes, I came out stumbling and felt like I came out with new body parts lol!!! I was a little sore but definitely needed to loosen those nerves for future comfort. Will be booking with her ALWAYS. If you want a mixture of both light and firm, choose Jimmy. He is very vocal when asking if you are comfortable and making sure your needs are met. Very gentle touch but not shy about putting some pressure. Overall I’ve had amazing experiences so far and signed up for a monthly membership. I would add that they add a checkout area more fitting as check out may be a little awkward with everyone standing in the middle of the hall haha But they are upcoming and growing and use that moment to make sure to educate you on staying hydrated and to make sure you were satisfied with the visit. We arrived for a couples appointment 20 minutes early, only to see the masseuse running into the building shortly after. We walked in about 5-10 minutes early, were told she was still setting up so we waited. The second masseuse still hadn’t arrived at the time of our appointment. While waiting I was asked if I had a fever (I’m assuming because I coughed). I told her no, that I had bronchitis from a sinus infection I had a couple weeks back. I booked an appointment for my mom with this company as a gift. I was at work the day of her appointment. It was not until after my work did I come back to my phone to see a voicemail and text message from the place 45 min before my mom’s appointment saying the therapist was sick (her appointment was in the afternoon). So I was not happy they waited so long to inform us that we could either reschedule the appointment or get a refund.
