First I went way to big on my snowboard trip on the first run if you look at my insta you can see my wipeout@klattlucas. Anyways getting to the juicy stuff...I went numb after the landing thought I could walk it off..so I did. Went back to my cabin that night and struggled to shower and get into bed. I layed there w nagging pain all night on my side curled up into a ball. The next morning I could barely walk. I had severely injured my L5 which is an area of my lower back. I think I sprained it. It was severely swollen like a baseball was stuck under my skin. The crew I was with I was coaching so I suited up and went to the mountain ignoring the pain. I could barely go down the runs to film. But I was dedicated to my team and getting content. I had four days to get through until I would be home resting and we were doing doubles. Northstar in the AM till close then Boreal in the PM. After my second run we noticed a group of ripping pros. Naturally me and my team gravitates to chasing them to get on the lift next to them. Me having little or no social fear which I’ve taught myself introduced myself to all of them. The one I got on the lift w was friendly right off the bat and I told him my story about how I injured myself. To my surprise he openly asked questions and was friendly back and we got to talking where I shared my experience of hurting myself. Next thing you know he’s offering to help me. Hesitant as I felt there was no hope I carefully got off the lift and was directed by him to move over to the side. He had me extend my arm put pressure down then gripped me from around my body proceeded to left my up and somehow popped relief into my inflamed area of injury. Instantaneously I felt and incredible amount of relief as if someone popped the pressure out of my lower back. I’m not sure how he learned to do this or how his intuition guided him to repair me. From that moment on I returned to flipping and my injury healed itself. I flipped my way through the day landing some and over rotating or under rotating in others as I just launch and eyeball jumps because that’s how I approach snowboarding. After three weeks of snowboarding and launching into oblivion I continued to land on the injured area and to my luck saw my new found friend up at Northstar once again. He patiently waited for me at the end of the day and we took a drive together to retrieve his car. Back at his car he whips out a message table and miraculously performs several tests and adjustments on me. I have never been the same since. My health skyrocketed since the treatment. Not only did my injury heal but I continued the momentum of a new found spring in my step from feeling good and getting better. I was in a special anti-inflammatory diet to speed up the healing process. I have continued w the diet and began doing hot yoga mindfully moving around the injury channeling awareness into all my muscle groups. So I have been focused 100 percent on surfing as the snow stopped dumping. Now I am Lucas Klatt surf coach, mentor, athlete, personal trainer. Where I go from here the sky is the limit and during these times I experienced holistic medicine for the first time and I believe it changed me. No dollar amount can be placed on the shift in my path and I am forever grateful to my new friend who I will always remmeber. Thankyou Dr. James Huang @Dr.Buttertime for changing my life. Now I have to be a living miracle and out of respect for your work I will honor you by living to my fullest potential as a person...
Read moreBad experience all around, and now I have numbness in my hand. During the first visit, I was presented with a book talking about how great Dr. Huang is and was told to read the chapter before being seen. However, Dr. Huang didn't want me to take off my very thick sweatshirt, yet somehow was able to sense trauma in my muscles by touching my back. He performed a bunch of typical chiropractic procedures with a few oddities thrown in, such as homeopathic remedies and electronic stimulation. He advised me to eat more meat, specifically beef, and less seafood, citing examples like the Argentinians who consume red wine and steak. When I inquired about which type of seafood to eat less of, he brushed it off, claiming I was "fixed up now."
During the session, he also cracked my wrist, which led to numbness at night starting the same day and continuing for weeks.
At the end of the session, I overheard his receptionist asking him if it was okay to double book clients for the next week, to which he replied yes.
During the following visit, as I sat in the reception area, he emerged from the back of his first office ten minutes late (I saw him in there with a client). He walked across the hallway to his second office and unlocked it. When I asked him why he had two rooms, he simply replied, "it's all good." I explained a bit about what happened during the previous session as he laid me down and placed awkwardly positioned blocks under my body. He responded, "ok let's get you settled in first" and then walked away. I knew he was returning across the hall to attend to his other client.
Twenty minutes passed, and he hadn't returned. My hands were numb, and my body hurt from the way he positioned me—there was no way he remembered my issues before putting me in that position. He sees over twenty patients a day, and despite it being weeks, he didn't listen to me before laying me down.
Later, he texted me and apologized, saying he had a patient with an acute issue across the way. He could've informed me of that upfront.
It's evident that Dr. Huang is attempting to create a factory-like system where he shuttles back and forth between offices to maximize the number of patients he sees. I never felt heard or like he gave me the time of day, and unfortunately, I left in a lot more pain than...
Read moreAfter being sick for around 22 years I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have had 6 episodes of extremely hemorrhaging bleeding (not a normal menstruation) in my life and western medicine didn’t know and couldn’t give me an explanation only that is was irregular hormonal imbalance. I had tried it all; acupuncture, Biomagnetism, herb medicine, homeopathy. I had gone to different OBG-YN in the states and in Mexico. In 2021 I was introduced to Pfizer depo-shot and thought not having a period at all was the best thing since I’ve had more than 14 bags of blood transfusions in my life. But like all pharma medicine it had side effects and I was going crazy. I found Dr. James on instagram through a reel and knew he was going to help me. I signed up on the waiting list and waited almost a year until one day while driving to Kaiser to get another depo shot he wrote to me on instagram and said I have an opening for today. I stopped driving turned back home and waited for the zoom call. Since May 2025 I have been on virtual zoom calls with the doctor twice a month and I have had my period twice this year after stopping the depo shot in May. My last episode of hemorrhage bleeding was September 14,2024. Almost a year later I can say I have never in my life had a normal period; no cramps, no heavy and abundant flow and all thanks to Dr. James. He found the root of the problem and gave me an explanation. It was back when I was a child that I received DTap vaccine and poor nutrition that was the reason of my weird blessings. Dr. James recommended me some items to include in my diet, new supplements and change of habits. During our zoom calls we discuss everything that affects me mentally and physically. I highly recommend his services for any illness. I can’t wait to visit him in person. He can help you and change the world but only if you are...
