Love! Love! LOVE this record store! I was a fan of them even back at their old Tice Valley location, but I’m so happy they found a new home (still close!) and that they’ll get probably better visibility here. This feels like your actual neighborhood record store - the pride the owner feels is reflected in how clean, organized and eclectic the design of the store is. Full of character and attention to detail - plus very warm and inviting. They have a good selection of new - you can always ask them to order something, and they also have a neat used record section. I know it’s true you can pay less and get some of these from Amazon, but I do make a point of coming here because you can’t replicate the experience of walking into a record store, surrounded by artists and music, and having staff that can recommend artists - plus RSD deals! Excellent co-op style shop for music lovers! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The products are all top notch and made in America (if not made a few miles from there). They seem to value and support the local musicians and craftsmen more than any other place I have been. They have a small selection of used and signed records that are surprisingly high quality and include many rare albums. They also have a selection of extremely nice strats and telecasters, some with an intential worn patina that suits them well. This is an excellent store with a MASSIVE selection. I spent easily an hour searching through all they had. Everything is clearly labeled, but I just had to look through it all! Every person I interacted with there was very knowledgeable and super friendly. They didn't have the one record I was looking for (The soundtrack to Heavy Metal 1981), but I did find two other records I was looking for!
