Let me start with I don’t usually leave reviews. But as I sit here the day after eating here I can’t get over how much we paid for what we received. . We went there to celebrate two family birthdays. Family of five. Total cost was over $625 (this included the cheapest bottle of wine and two mediocre cocktails). The buffet salads, cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables were edible but just lacked any real seasoning for the salads and veggies. Some of the items appeared to me as not being the freshest. The deviled eggs had definitely been sitting out for a while, the yokes had that darker toned crust to them, rather than a bright yellow.. As for the meats they just weren’t that great. Overcooked, tough, and some had an odd after taste. Service was ok. We did arrive a little early for our reservation and were not seated until 20 min after our reservation time. Our table was positioned within 4-5 feet of a busing station and a doorway to the bathrooms. My impression was they added the table to just try and get more customers in. I even looked under to see it it was a folding table, it wasn't. Not a very pleasing location to be seated. They did have an abundance of staff running around with the meat, never had to wait for something to be offered. If you wanted something in particular, you can ask any staff and it will be there in 30 seconds. I assume the high price is needed to pay the large staff needed to support the Brazilian steak house model. One final item about the atmosphere was my dislike of the large TV in our dining area continuously advertising all of their locations, just reinforcing they are a chain feeding into a corporate model and not a family owned operation focused on quality control.. Maybe if we had paid half the price we did I would have a different perspective. For the price we paid I could have taken the family to some top rated restaurants in SF and had much better food and experience for the price. I don’t mind paying top dollar as long as the product, atmosphere, and service is in alignment. What you get it is definitely over priced in my...
Read moreMy family took me out for my birthday here. It was my first time at a Brazilian Steakhouse and I had an idea of what to expect but wow, it was A LOT.
Location is good. There's a parking garage less than a block away that's cheap.
They have a decent salad bar. I tried pretty much everything and my favorite was the shrimp salad, the marinated cremini mushrooms and the marinated olives. They also had this creamy chicken soup that was really good.
They have these little cards on the table that are green on one side and red on the other. You turn the card up showing the green side when you want them to bring meats to your table and you turn it to red when you're not ready for more meat. Honestly, I don't think they cared about those little cards. 😂
When it was time for me to come to the table? (17 meats by the way), they were coming fast and furious. Bacon wrapped filet mignon, lamb chops, beef ribs, shrimp, salmon, so much stuff to try.
My favorite out of everything surprisingly was the shrimp. Out of everything, I felt it had the most flavor. Although they do have sauces on the table that you can put on the meats, the flavor on the shrimp from the kitchen was perfect.
For dessert, I had the creme brulee which was really good and they sang me happy birthday. Prior to that, they brought mashed potatoes with cheese on top and cooked bananas. I'm usually not a fan of bananas like that, but they were actually really good. The first batch of mashed potatoes they brought out were good too, but the second batch was a bit looser and not as flavorful.
I had a really good time and so did my family. Definitely one of those places you go to if you have a big appetite. I normally am good about taking a ton of pictures to share, but I think I got so caught up in all of the food that kept coming my way, that I didn't take...
Read moreI came here a few days ago to celebrate my friends birthday. It was my first Brazilian steakhouse experience, and my friend’s first time at this particular restaurant. We were satisfied from the moment we hit the door!
Serving staff was extremely friendly. The host Junior was extremely attentive to our table. He explained the process and consistently checked in on us to ensure that we were having a great time. There was also another floor staff by the name of Darling who was extremely sweet and continually checked on us as well (he eventually convinced me to try their house Port wine just by the way he presented it to us lol.) I personally feel like these two went beyond service staff requirements. They engaged in side bar conversation with us, and made sure that we felt comfortable the whole time!
The food was beyond satifactory as well! The salad bar was clean and consistently refreshed, and the options available were delicious! The meat was also mouthwatering! Everything was seasoned well and cooked to perfection (The prime rib, lamb chops, and leg of lamb were my personal favorites!)
The last cherry on top was the staff singing happy birthday to my friend in Portuguese and English! There was nothing about the experience I could complain about. We never felt rushed to finish our dining experience even though we came towards the end of the night. We even lingered around a bit as they were closing since my friend needed to use the restroom with no complaints from the staff.
I 1000% recommend going here, whether it’s for a special occasion or just because! My friend and I will definitely...
