Andersen Farms — Attraction in Wantage

Stay away! Not only is most of their stuff not local ( and upping their price by 30% ), the staff seems unfriendly and the owner is the rudest person I have come across. My seven-year-old daughter and I had lingered a few minutes after closing hours to look at their chickens and rabbits. The owner... Guy with red hair and goatee... Charges up in his huge pickup splashing muddy water on my pants and yells at me " WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!? " Because of his shocking tone I thought my child and I were in danger of something... maybe their goats with the horns could get loose on us? He then says "we're closed now get off my property" My jaw dropped as I started leading my kid away. He circles back around to yell at us some more because we weren't leaving fast enough for him. I don’t understand how this place could ever receive a negative review. I have been Shopping here for several years and Have had nothing but positive experiences. I owe The staff of Anderson Farms a great deal of Gratitude for the success that I have had designing And maintaining my garden. It has been my experience that all of those who work there are friendly and helpful-in particular, Cynthia. I can’t say enough good things about Anderson Farms. Each location has its own reputable attributes that make each customer feel welcome and invited. I respect and appreciate that pets are kindly asked not to be brought into the stores that have food and produce. I don’t know about other people, but I don’t want dog hair in my ice cream!!!! Every time I visit, employees greet me with a warm smile and offer any assistance that I may need. Especially at the Sparta location!
