We have been ordering takeout from here for a few years, we have never had dinner at the restaurant. We have noticed that certain things are on our "Do Not Order" list which includes: Beef & Broccoli - the first time we ordered it, it was amazing! We received a large amount of lean, tender beef and a good amount of broccoli. The last two times we ordered it though we got about 90% broccoli and the little beef we did get was all fat and gristle, as if they used the scraps that are trimmed before slicing the beef. We could not eat it. Fusion Deluxe with Garlic Sauce - they are very skimpy with the seafood. We got one scallop cut in half, two shrimp and the rest was chicken. Again, we got about 85% vegetables, which for the price, was not worth it. A couple others cons to mention is: A lot of time when I go in to pick up an order, there is no one at the desk, no bell to ring for service and no one in the front room. I have spent one or two trips waiting almost ten minutes for someone to come to the desk to acknowledge me, which is frustrating. The decor needs a major facelift. A lot of the booths and chairs are torn, there is writing on the back of some booths and there are boxes stacked along the walls. On the other hand, any hibachi dinner we have tried was great!! We got great portions and everything was cooked beautifully. One of our favorites and our main go-to is the sesame chicken. It is definitely the best sesame chicken in town and you get a portion that easily feeds two people. Their crab rangoon is also the best in town and comes with a delicious sauce!! Overall, we know what to start away from and what's good to order. I wish they offered egg rolls so I didn't have to make a second trip to Eastern Garden on...
Read moreThis doesnt even deserve a star. Went there for mothers day and I made a reservation a week before. We walk in and were standing there for 20 mins before someone came out to seat us when he did he asked how many and my mom said reservation for 9 at 530 under my name. The guy asked if we were all there so my mom said no waiting on 2 people who lived only a minute down the street. Then he stated if your not all here we dont seat you. So, I said wait and tried to explain that we made a reservation a week ago. He then put his hand up in front of my face and completely ignored me and asked the people behind us how many? At that point I was so aggravated and have never been disrespected by a man like that ever especially someone who is working in a restaurant serving his customers. His tone and attitude was ridiculous and he was so rude. At that point we left. I will never go back there and I will make sure to spread the word about how disgusting they treat theyre customers. What's even worse is I think the man we dealt with was the manager or the owner. How horrible? And I'm sorry but if someone makes a reservation i do not care if there are only 2 people missing. You seat the people who made a reservation and if you dont or cant. Then dont commit to having reservations at your restaurant. Horrible...
Read moreTried to give this place a shot. Should’ve checked reviews first. Ordered hibachi dinner told ready in 15 minutes.. showed up 30 minutes later and they act surprised to see me, assuming I was a DoorDash driver. Asked me what i ordered and then just walks away. I sat there for around 5 minutes and then left.
I don’t expect much, but at the very least a “I apologize, sir. There was a little mixup. I’m getting your order in right now. It’ll be about 10 minutes”. Instead, they call me about 5 minutes after I left telling me my food was ready. When I explained that it was unacceptable that it wasn’t ready when I showed up and then to not even say anything and just walk away is not good business, they offered me a discount to come back and get it. However, I’d rather spend my money more deserving.
Mixups happen. I don’t expect perfection. It’s common courtesy. I worked a long day. I called in thinking I was giving more than enough time. The last thing I’m in the mood for is not even acknowledgment that you messed up or any...
