Not very happy with Phone Hub on Russell Parkway after paying $345.00. Took my IPhone in to have the screen face and back replaced on it. Got it back looked very nice was told job went pretty easy I stated looks nice. Went to the car and was driving home went I received a call went to answer it and my phone went all black after answering it. When the call ended I couldn’t hand up because of the black screen hit all buttons on my phone and nothing happened. Got home called my Son in Fl , he said face time me and I couldn’t do that I had no face Recognition. Front camera was very blurry. I called an employee at the store and talk with the mgr told her I was going to take to to Best Buy to have check. (Trying to keep review short) after being check at best but was told the face recognition sensor was damaged . Got back with phone hub store mgr and was told to bring the phone back and they would put a new sensor and camera in it very nice person to talk to but got phone back walked outside called my daughter and told her to call me and guess what screen went black again no control over phone I asked her to hang up and phone came back to life still no face recognition but camera is better took back in store to see if they would refund anything as all system worked fine before. Was told if they put my old face and back on phone they would refund money but I still have a broke phone, that’s my concern. Was told they wouldn’t refund anything unless old parts got re-installed . I said No you already broke internal something not you want to put old parts on it and say call it even. Who knows if they’ll damage more . Best Buy couldn’t repair because aftermarket glass and back were installed and they don’t do it was advised by Best Buy to trade phone off . (Now more money going out) I took two photos of messages coming up on phone saying there is a problem but after getting my phone back from Phone Hub photo no longer in my phone. Long story short beware iPhone owner their not professionals. Bottom line and don’t inform you of using...
Read moreToday I brought my samsung note 20 ultra 5g in for a battery replacement. During the replacement of the battery the back glass screen was shattered. This phone was purchased in Oct 2024 and has been in a protective case. There were no cracks on the screen before this battery replacement was done. Now I was offered a discount for a screen replacement but I declined due to the fact that I have done a few battery replacements on my other phones that have a back glass and know that shattering the screen is avoidable if you are using the proper tools and are careful. As for the price of the battery replacement it was a good price. The staff are very nice...
Read moreI brought in my iPhone SE that kept rebooting nonstop, and the team at Phone Hub quickly diagnosed it as a motherboard issue. They were upfront and honest about the limitations of repairing older phones like mine, and didn’t try to upsell or give me false hope. Even though they couldn’t fix it, they explained everything clearly and treated me with respect the entire time.
It’s rare to find a repair shop that’s this transparent and professional. If you’re looking for a place that won’t waste your time and genuinely knows their stuff, I’d definitely...
