Chevy Chase Pavilion — Attraction in Washington

On Friday Sept. 23, 2022 I had set reservations for the celebration of my sister in laws Birthday because she wanted Carrot Cake from Cheesecake Factory. So I chose the "Chevy Chase Pavilion DC”. 5335 Wisconsin Ave NW, Ste 29, Washington DC, DC 20015-2030 (Upper Northwest) location. Not expecting much, just attempting to do my part in enabling my sister to have a good time at a restaurant she chose. To my surprise the first two Hostesses (Cheyanne & Marissa) were very polite, personable, and helpful in directing our party of 4 wherever we needed to go. Once upstairs I met Lissette who guided us to our table and passed along the message of what was desired by my sister for her candle lite birthday Carrot Cake to our server, whom we had not yet met. Lissette must have shared that I wanted some good quality service since she passed the message on to Michelle. We were instead greeted by Ryan (Also a great server) who helped us navigate until our server arrived. Ron was the back-server who assisted in clearing and setting our table. So here comes Michelle with her happy and bubbly personality. taking our order and making sure the chefs prepared every dish just as we asked. And the cake and gathering to help sing Happy Birthday to my sister was awesome. I don't know what other Cheesecake Factory's present to receive some of the negative reviews that I have read. Yet the Cheesecake Factory at the "Chevy Chase Pavilion DC”. 5335 Wisconsin Ave NW, Ste 29, Washington DC, DC 20015-2030 (Upper Northwest) location, Showed up and showed out!! Thanks to the wonderful staff mentioned and the delicious food, my sister enjoyed a happy and memorable experience for her Birthday.Ask for Michelle or Ryan and I am thinking that any patron will want to leave a similar review. My son and I went to Cheesecake Factory. I knew I couldn't go wrong ordering the Jambalaya. Shrimp, Chicken and vegetables were well seasoned along with brown rice. I also asked for extra sauce so the entree wouldn't be dry. I was quite happy. My son on the other hand ordered an omelette that he created it came with potatoes and toast. To both of our surprise whomever cooked it just threw it together. The vegetables in the omelette weren't cooked, barely any cheese was in it to taste. Disappointed in it totally. The potatoes were over cooked so they were very crispy a little too crispy for my taste. Our server was excellent I believe his name was Brian or Bryant and he was training a new employee. He remedied the situation by offering my son a menu to order something else. Definitely satisfied when he received the replacement entree. Would recommend and will go back but will be sure to not to order...

We enjoyed the newly remodeled rooms, complete with comfortable bedding and spacious living area. The bedroom has a large window for daytime light and views and curtains that let you sleep in as desired. The front living area was big enough for 4 adults and 2 kids to have a meal together (we had two suites rented and borrowed 3 chairs from one suite). The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly during our 4 day 3 night stay. The complimentary made to order breakfast was fresh and delicious and with enough variety to please most. The evening reception was light on snacks but offered acceptable house wine and cold draft beer along with soda and well cocktails. The pool and exercise area is actually a small club, so expect to have company while using these facilities. Downtown DC is an easy 25 minute Metro trip from the lobby below.
