I recently had the opportunity to experience “the agency" escape room puzzle, and it was an absolutely thrilling adventure. The theme of the room was set in a bar with a spy aspect, which made the experience even more exciting.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a mysterious person who briefed us on our mission and left us to our devices. Phil, the employee who watched over us with cameras and gave out hints, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. He was always available to provide us with clues when we got stuck, and his guidance really helped us to progress through the puzzle.
The attention to detail in this escape room was impressive. The decor was spot on and created an immersive experience. The puzzles were challenging, but not impossible, and required us to use our brains and work together as a team.
One of the standout features of this escape room was the incorporation of technology. The use of cameras and other electronic devices added an extra layer of complexity to the puzzles, and made the experience all the more exciting.
Overall, I highly recommend this escape room puzzle to anyone who is looking for an exciting and challenging adventure. The theme of a bar with a spy aspect was unique and engaging, and Phil's helpful hints and guidance really added to the experience. Don't miss out on this...
Read moreOn Friday 2:40pm 12/22 the game master (NiAra we think) for the Dig was extremely rude. She was already annoyed with us as soon as we walked in the room and said I’m not going to give you clues if you look like you’re on the right direction just need to sit and think. You can ask all you want but I’m not gonna give you a clue. Don’t keep repeating yourself because I hear you and I won’t give you a clue Sorry, but it’s our money and we are with four children. We’ve done probably 20 escape rooms and this was the most tedious boring simple room with nothing intricate involved. We did have to use our phone flashlights to find clues in an almost completely dark room, usually when that happens, they give us flashlights, so we know that there are other elements in the room. She also gave us a huge lecture how we should have used our phone flashlights to look more closely, and this is after giving us a lecture at the beginning about don’t you dare use your phones and we will be watching you and know if you use your phones to videotape or take pictures and so don’t even bother taking them out There is nothing about this room that was intelligent or engaging. There are so many better escape rooms and places to spend your money, there is no need to go somewhere to be...
Read moreCustomer service is lacking. After frequenting Escape the Room many times over the last few years with other adults, I called to see if I would need to purchase a ticket for my 4-year-old to tag along with our group today. A very rude man answered the phone, cut me off and started to answer my question before I could even get it out, and then when I tried to finish my question he cut me off saying he had other people on the line and would need to call me back. It’s one thing to pick up the phone and place a customer on hold to attend to other customers, but he literally answered and said “Hi! Escape the Room DC” in which I said hello and asked my question.
I then called the number for the other location in DC (not realizing that the phone numbers route to the same person) and he picked up the phone with a deep annoyed sigh saying “I said I would call you back”.
That left such a bad taste in my mouth. I was excited to try another room with family that is in town visiting, but I will take my business to another escape room in the area...
