Located at the corner of 4th and T Street NW is a family market run by mom, dad and sometimes their daughter. It is located across the street from the former residence of Walter E Washington, who was the first elected mayor of Washington DC.
This market attracts a variety of patrons who come from far away for their custom made smoothies. Flavors range from strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, mango, banana and peach or any mixture. What makes them so flavorable is in the bottom are chunks of fruit.
They come in two sizes of medium or large for the same price of 3.65ish. The medium is more like a 12oz and the large is more like a 16oz. They are truly a neighborhood best kept secret. Once you have one you will want no other.

LeDroit has that (always check the expiration dates), but they also have so much more. First item of proof is their coffee corner. For much cheaper than one of the fancy local coffee shops, you can get decent drip coffee with all the fixings.
