Staff was delightful which is not the case at many pools in DC. Great to have a new facility. Seems like cheap materials have been used and I don’t expect this facility to last a long time. Pool needs to be cleaned & skimmed daily along with sweeping the deck of tree debris that falls every single day. Managing the PH needs to be a priority in order to keep the water clean and clear. I’m giving it four stars only because it’s brand new & the staff was very nice but it won’t stay that way unless it’s taken very good care of. Definitely will be back. By the way somebody wrote a really idiotic review complaining about the people who swim there and pay the taxes of the city and probably live within blocks… Just because they’re slower doesn’t mean you can’t swim...

I am also very excited that I will be able to take my elderly mother there to do some water exercises while I play with and teach my three year old to swim. As another reviewer thoroughly pointed out the pool supports people who are...
Read moreVery nice public pool. We came early on a Tuesday around 9:30. The pool was relatively empty and as we were getting there the life guards removed a swimming lane to allow more room for kids to swim. They still had 3 lanes for laps. The zero entry portion of the pool is small, but great for small children. Bathrooms and changing rooms seemed well kept. The only con was the lack of shade as the day went on, but we will definitely use this pool...
