I've been in twice in the short time they've been open and thoroughly enjoyed myself both times. It is so full of light during the day and there are plants everywhere! I almost felt like I was somewhere tropical.
The first time I sat at a table for brunch and Ryan took great care of us. He was attentive and had a great attitude. The baked oysters were amazing, and the monkey bread was sinfully delicious. We got espresso martinis and they were just perfect!
The second time I sat with the bartender Misha who was so bubbly and full of charm. I had the french onion soup and the cheese was perfectly melted. Then I had the crab cake which was chock full of great big lumps of meat and no filler. I couldn't finish it! To wash it all down I had the yuzu lemon drop martinis and it was everything I could have asked for. It was a perfectly made lemon drop with just a little twist from the yuzu to keep it interesting.

However, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find no host present to greet us. Alongside another patron, we patiently waited to be seated, while the staff seemed preoccupied in the back of the restaurant. Eventually, when the staff finally emerged to attend to the hostess counter, another guest arrived and was promptly seated, seemingly disregarding the three of us who had been waiting before her. While I hesitate to attribute this treatment to race, it was hard to ignore the fact that my friend and I, along with another patron, were all people of color and seemingly overlooked.
