I joined PureBarre 6 weeks ago and I’m absolutely loving it. I’m not a big exerciser and was hoping group classes would give me more motivation. I was right :) The workouts are great, no two classes are the same, and they activate muscles that I didn’t know I had/that typical workouts don’t target. The staff is really wonderful, super friendly. Highly recommend!!

It's been about 2 months since I started barre at Pure Barre, and after taking nearly 20 classes, it's safe to say I'm hooked. I've taken classes with a variety of instructors - they are all lovely, supportive, and challenging in their own ways. I don't have a negative thing to say about any of the instructors with whom I've taken classes. The classes are insanely demanding, but the results are indisputable. The facilities themselves are are up-to-date and always spotless. I'm a resident of nearby Glover Park, so this location is super accessible for me. Plus, I am a regular at Zengo Cycle next door and love the proximity in case I'm feeling ambitious enough to do back-to-back barre and spin classes. I've been loving my time so far at Pure Barre, being part of this super supportive community, and seeing the results I've seen thus far, and plan to continue going regularly! Thanks,...

I joined Pure Barre Cathedral Commons a few weeks ago and have been loving every minute of it. I must admit I was never a serious exerciser. It was only when I turned 33 last year that my body completely changed and I was no longer able to forgo exercise - something I had taken great advantage of for far too long. Pure Barre is really getting me back in shape and toned - in such a warm, welcoming and clean environment. I was worried about being intimidated but that fear was relinquished after my first class. I can assure you that after a few classes you start to learn the lingo and every class has a mix of ages and body types. I have found everyone friendly and non-judgmental. I've taken classes with Liana and Amanda and both are equally challenging and great workouts. Would definitely recommend to anyone...

I've been part of the Pure Barre DC community for 9 years now, and it really is the most effective workout for me. The classes don't get easier - I just get stronger, and even after almost 1400 classes, I'm still challenged in every class. The instructors across the DC studios are phenomenal, and I love the variety of classes. There's something for everyone, whether you're looking for strength training, cardio/HIIT, stretching and balance, or tiny but mighty movements. The teachers set a high bar(re) whether while taking class with me or on the mic, and are so motivational. Through both of my pregnancies, I could modify moves and continue taking barre classes until the day I gave birth. I love the community at PBDC and would encourage anyone to...
