Small park with pavilion, walking path, small open field, trees, basketball courts, and restrooms. Great quick pit stop for the kiddo to take a break from a long car ride while we grabbed some food. It’s pretty close to the freeway exit and entrance. Also, it is near Walmart and a few other food places like Jack in the box, Starbucks, and In-N-Out Burger. Park was well maintained.

Take the short hike to 3 lava tube caves via the Butterfly Trail to Lava Flow Trail. 90s in the sun but very cool in the caves. Left (south) on Lava Trail to the largest cave with a large back room. You need a headlamp or flashlight. Bring plenty of water and come early before peak heat in the summer.

I really like this park because there is nice shade in the parent sitting area. The playground has a little kid area and a bigger kid area. It has a big field with a walking path around it. There is a stream that runs through the back of the park and a tunnel, as well. There’s also a basketball court.

I've always admired the spacious heavily shaded & 🌿GREEN🍃covered landscape this park has with its large fields and enormous treesx10🌲🌳.. its really nice to take a shade covered stroll through here on a super sunny day, and even includes a cute little creek that runs along an outer edge. Really gives you that "we out here in nature🪻" feel. I've attended many a baby shower here in the Summer🌞in the past, & have had a picnic🍉 or two. I give it a 4️⃣ star rating however just because when it comes to the actual playplace area for the kiddos, i was met with instant devastation and disappointment👎🏻😬 from my 2 yr old daughters reaction when we discovered it didn't have "wings" for me to push her on🥹. A swingset is her #1 must👏🏻 have 👏🏻activity she seeks out first and last-and so it lost our interest completely ✋🏻and we had no reason to stick around, hahaha ... ✌🏻 I love a good park with a relaxing vibe🧘🏼‍♀️ but these days if im there its only cause im on a mission 💁🏼‍♀️ to fulfill the wishes of the littles👩‍👧‍👦I...

This place most of which is hidden if You're just driving by is a terrific park... Unlike most of the local parks it's got plenty of shade from lots of great trees... There are BBQ grills next to picknick tables... Tons of open space Too for toss football or Frisbee's... There's a great little steam to stand in cool off not to deep to really be concerned about little kid safety... This place has it all..! Can't think of anything it's missing... HAT'S OFF to the architect & planners who designed...

I like coming to this park around noon, all the mom's with kids come out. My daughter loves to see all the kids. The only down side is that the trail that is nearby tends to have graffiti and teens like to hang in the tunnel at the trail. I'm not sure what they do their and I don't plan on finding out. As long as you are at the main park area it's a nice place to be. It has a big beautiful field, park benches in the shade, outlets to charge phones, and everyone I have met their have been...
