My choice for Crepes in St. George, if it is open... There are a few creperies in town, catering to different segments of patrons. For a crepe experience in a pleasing enough and appropriately priced venue, this is my choice. The Crepe Station sports a pleasing and unpretentious bistro-like atmosphere, including outside seating. Their menu is fine: there are several sweet and several savory selections, with sufficient variety in each category to accommodate most food moods. The staff is extraordinarily friendly (in my experience) and the crepes are right in that region where the texture of the wrapping, as served, is in-between lightly crispy and appropriately soft. Fillings, well, what I tried is good. To me, more often than not the art of crepes is in the wrappings, right? The filling just has to keep up, and here it does, according to taste. I suppose fillings could be a little more imaginative, but that's me, and in general they keep up just fine, being appropriately seasoned, flavorful and never overbearing. Servings sizes are appropriate for a creperie. Big appetites may require more than one crepe, perhaps a couple, maybe a savory and a sweet one? Or three crepes split between two patrons (when we're hungry, we order two savory and split one sweet.). Your check for two people will run between $20 and $30 or so, before drinks, depending on the size of your appetite. My only significant gripe is that this place closes at...
Read moreI recently visited Crepe Station, and let me tell you, it was an adventure in flavor and fun! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, enthusiastic”Hi!” that made me feel like I had stepped into a cozy Parisian cafe. The staff were not only friendly but also had a knack for making me laugh while taking my order. Who knew ordering a crepe could be so entertaining?
Now, let’s talk about the food. The crepes were absolutely fabulous—each bite felt like a little celebration in my mouth! I tried the Classic crepe, and it was heavenly. The matcha latte was another highlight, perfectly balanced and deliciously smooth. As for the cappuccino, it was like a hug in a cup—comforting and satisfying.
But what truly made my experience exceptional was the outstanding customer service. The staff were attentive, witty, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making their customers happy. It’s rare to find a place where the food and the service are both top-notch, but Crepe Station nailed it. If you’re looking for a joyful, tasty escape with a side of laughter, this is the...
Read moreI went to the Telegraph Marketplace Crepe Station and had the classic crepe w/cinnamon, sugar & caramel drizzle($5.45). My son and I enjoyed this so much. The crepe was beautiful and Airy light with a gorgeous fold. It was a rainy day, so I also got the regular hot Masala Chai Latte($4.25), which was sweet, warm and hit the spot. This European Bistro also sells German candy, and I tried the Fizzy Stick in lemon(.96). This reminded me of Pez but on steroids with a pucker punch that makes you want more. They also include the tax on the listed price which is a great surprise at their register, which was only $14.45 for all 3 things. The atmosphere is represented of the German heritage, and is welcoming and warm. I would go back for a panini or savory crepe(the breakfast one looked yum), along with the large variety of worldly teas and classic coffee. I also saw seasonal drinks and a lematcha, which is a lemonade/matcha tea that looked intriguing and so different. Thank you Crepe Station, I will most definitely be back to try your...
