This place has gone downhill quickly, nah, at lightspeed. The prices are ridiculous. The serving portions are a joke, and you're lucky if you're even greeted or thanked when & after you visit. Several menu items are served as a entrée but in a "real" Korean place, they are side dishes that come with any meal (for free), not here. We were told one tofu menu item was "sold out," then 3 minutes later, told they would make it for us. The food taste was average at best. We paid $18 for Korean fried chicken!! (pictured) which was 6 balls of dough with little or no chicken. Two of our party are married to Koreans and have lived in Korea for several years, so I'd say that makes their opinions valid. We will not be back. We used to love this place prior to 2020.. it's not the same, not even close. To top it off, they don't even include kimchi with your meal. That's extra! C'mon!! Save your money and go next door to...
Read moreCame here for lunch and had a very pleasant meal and time. Not only was the food very yummy but our experience and customer service was excellent! Here's how our lunch went. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile. We then walked up to the counter to place our order and was immediately greeted by a friendly woman (either the chef or owner I assume) asking if we've had Korean food before or if wanted recommendations. We already knew what we wanted, so we ordered our dishes: the sweet potato noodle dish (can't remember the Korean name for it) and my partner got the chili chicken with rice lunch special. They both came out hot, in good time and tasted great! Even though it's an order at the window and they bring your food to you type of place, they still came over and checked on us, asking if we liked our dishes. It has a small, mom and pop feel and I'd definitely come...
Read moreGood food and the best Korean food you're going to get within ~120 miles. I wasn't sold on it yet because they opened without being able to serve their full complement of menu items, which was rather disappointing because 2 of my first 3 choices were "unavailable at this time". I'm hoping that isn't the case for long because I love Korean food.
I lived in Korea for a few years so I would consider myself an enthusiast. I would like to see a few things added to the menu and changed with the basics.
My only real issue is that you have to pay for a side of kimchi.. kimchi should be offered to those that want it, free of charge (similar to nearly any korean restaurant ever) most americans won't eat any anyways. (We did buy the kimchi and it was tasty, but it was a small portion for the price and we won't...
