my girlfriend and i love korea picnic. personally, it's my favorite restaurant in st. george-- and that's coming from a local. if you like asian food (especially korean), this is the place.
the family that owns the restaurant is very friendly and clearly passionate about their food. they take the time to come out of the kitchen and talk to you if they're not too busy!
the lunchboxes are a great meal. we often have some leftovers to reheat later. we personally recommend the spicy sweet fried chicken, pork belly lunch box, and kimchi pork stew. the aforementioned chicken is mildly spicy, but delicious even to people who aren't korean cuisine fanatics. their rice cakes (tteokkboki) are also delicious and not overly sweet. almost everything comes with a side, like rice, salad, or soup. food is never cold when it reaches your table (or takeout bag.)
prices are good for the flavors and portion sizes. we can't stop coming...
Read moreTHE FOOD IS SO DELICIOUS! Eunah is just the sweetest person ever, she was telling me how they cook the food in small batches and often to make sure the food is as fresh as possible. i got the teriyaki chicken bulgogi lunch box, and even with sharing it with my bf we were both perfectly full, so you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck here. it’s very light and flavorful food so even though we were full we didn’t feel all heavy. we were also given a little sample of the beef and oh my goodness im in love with it. the atmosphere is wonderful, the people are so sweet and lovely, you can see the kitchen from the order window and you can see that it’s very clean, and oh wow the food is amazing. thank you so much Eunah for the wonderful experience and i can’t wait to bring my family in...
Read moreIt's nice to see more dining options popping up in Southern Utah, outside of burger places, cookie and soda shops. This is a small space with cute drawings on the wall done by the owner herself. She greeted us as soon as we entered the restaurant and explained the menu. The dishes were good, simple, no frills korean food; the kind you literally would pack for a picnic. The prices were good for the amount of food served. The owner sat down and talked to us to pick our brains as to what she could do to improve and what we liked/disliked. We didnt think there was much to improve on other than maybe in the future, considering more gluten free and vegetarian options. They also have a few korean snack and ice cream options that are hard to find in the U.S. so it was nice to try...
