Sam's Park & Shop — Attraction in Washington

The Target is okay, just limited stuff due to the size of the store. And the parking lot is absolutely CRAZY!!!I Drove into too the lot at 9:58pm on a saturday nite (I thought the store was open until 11pm as stated on the website for xmas)to pick up a order at the Target for SHIPT SHOPPER grocery store app. I got out if the car went to gi into the store and the doors were locked!!! Store closed at 10pm and it was 10:00om on the dot. So I got back into my car and went to leave and drive up to the parking lot attendant shed its now 10:03 pm when i hands him the ticket and he says it's $10!!!!😱🤔‼ I said for what??!!! 🤨😱he says for the first hour of parking. I said I just came into the lot exactly 9:58pm and its now 10:03pm so that's a total of 5 mins the least time i counted!! and the sign says 1st HOUR FREE!!🤔 and I said I don't have any money, I am only here to pick up a package at target but its closed. He then says you can go into one of the stores and ask then to validate your ticket!! I now have 2 cars behind me and I said WHAT!!! ARE YOU CRAZY!!! I can't back up I got cars behind me... and I'm not going to do that!!! I said to him, you watched me come in and get out and back into my car and I'm not paying even if I had money because the sign says 1st HOUR FREE!!😡🤬 YOU addres trying to get money out of people ILLEGALLY!! Now can you please let me out of this lot!!! And he took my ticket folded it up and put it somewhere on the counter and then opened the gate to let me out, this happened on dec 5th.2019 SO BEWARE OF THESE GUYS IN THE PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS TRYING TO SCAM US AND OTHER DRIVERS!!!! IT'S WRONG WHAT THEY DO...

I visit here regularly and never had a major issue with parking validation or the gate, though the ticket system was wonky. However, with the new Metropolis app, there is no prorated validation (like taking half off an hour’s worth of parking with a 30 minute validation), nor can you validate a second time to override an initial validation.

Metropolis customer service was not helpful when I called before exiting, as the app explained that I could not make any changes to payment after leaving. A follow up email stated that my validation was voided because I parked longer than an hour, despite the fact that I only remained because I had a question about validation and the site stated I wouldn’t be able to change the price after…whatever.

Anyway, $25 to park for what was originally a 45-minute service at European Wax Center is pretty damn steep. At least I know how to deal with the system for next time, but it shouldn’t be so complicated...

This target is very good because It is on front of the Cleveland Park Metro Station, you just jump out the metro and can see the Target. There I found all the goods to my daily needs, like supermarket, bath, kitchen, seasonal clothes, electronics, prepared food, luggages, and so many things. The only thing that got me upset is the attention that the staffs given to the customers. I never been there to feel that the staffs are there to help me. This part was very hard for my, because I really like to feel that someone is there to help me if I have and doubt about...
