The food is definitely worth a try. I personally had the pad Thai. I've tried it both in chicken and steak. I have not been disappointed either time. I see some people complain that it is not sweet enough. But that is not my personal opinion. I automatically always detect a point for a star. For having paper straws, I know it's stupid, but I can not stand the taste of it. Nor do I believe that that is the most sanitary rule way to have a drink. This is also coming from the guy who only uses bottled water to cook and to drink. I also at home a full filtration system on my home. If you order water from here, I can tell that it is not purified. In any case, it is simply tap water on ice. In my opinion It is the most disgusting thing to drink. Coming from home and eating out. I can literally taste the chlorine inside of the water. It is not a restaurant's fault. Although they could invest in a reverse osmosis system and it would probably pay for itself over time. The atmosphere is decent, and it's great for people.Washing has got giant windows that face outside towards the main roads. It does have what it looks like to be like a small version of a full service bar. The place has not been crowded. The two times that i've gone in there during lunch time between...

Paragon Thai Restaurant is a hop, skip, and jump from a metro station, and thank goodness because this place serves some delicious Thai cuisine for attractive prices.

For my lunch visit, I indulged in the Red Curry with Tofu (firm). The composition of the curry was awesome, with all the essential ingredients that make this dish authentic: thai eggplants, bell peppers, coconut mil, bamboo shoots, and (of course) curry. The spice and savory blended nicely, and it was real treat.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was fairly casual, but very clean and open; there is space to bring a large group of people, and the decor and lighting promotes a casual, yet respectable, date night.

For lunch, the price was spot on, especially for the quality of food: $9.95. I have seen better, and I have seen worse, but $10 in this area is a sort of sweet spot.

The service was adequate, but I didn't interact with the staff much.

Overall, I would definitely stop back and look forward to trying other foods...

I really enjoyed this restaurant! They have plenty of veggie options, and the menu is very clear about spiciness. You can also adjust the level of spice on any dish, which was nice. The service was fast and consistent (they never let our water get to the bottom without refilling it). The restaurant itself was clean and pretty simple-looking. I got the spicy eggplant with mild spice and tofu. I tend to think I like spicy food (I eat medium salsa and like spicy Mexican food), but the mild was a perfect level of spicy for me. The eggplant dish was tasty. I really liked the tofu. The eggplant tasted good, but the peel had a weird texture I wasn’t fond of (more of a me problem than an issue with the restaurant though). The other person I was with got the drunken noodles. I had some, and they were really good. I’d definitely recommend this if you’re near Cleveland Park! It’s a little pricey, but I imagine it’s the same as all the...

FYI - I am typing up this review while eating the food from Paragon that I ordered for dinner tonight. First, hats off to @UberEats delivery driver Maria who delivered the food on time. Second, I needed to type this review right atm because I didn't want to forget. I ordered the marinated pork with sticky rice, massaman curry and a Thai iced tea. The massaman was what I expected and hoped it would be. In many other places I've ate from, the Massaman tasted very different. But I didn't want to write this review because of the Massaman... if you haven't tried it yet, you need to stuff Paragon's marinated meat into your mouth followed by a ball of sticky rice. The perfect blend of salty and sweet that glazes over the fatty pork is seriously mind blowing.

Paragon Thai is a cozy little Thai restaurant nestled in a bustling strip mall near Cleveland park, Washington DC. The food was great and staffs were very nice and attentive to details. Crispy fried food was just right, for example, we ordered curry puffs and crab rangoons. You can see from the plates that , the pieces were golden brown and have no excess oil which depicted good quality deep fried food. I can vouch for the crispiness and the taste 😬 .. the spicy salad was great as well .. I have tried other stir fries and mango sticky rice which were also awesome. if you are in the area or thinking of a quick and tasty takeout, give them a try. Highly recommended!!!
