After reading several reviews about fights breaking out and owners not paying attention to their dogs, I decided to bite the bullet and take my 1.5 year old Labrador to play at the park. We have now gone several times and absolutely LOVE going! My girl loves going and making new friends. We did have an incident (if you want to call it that) the last time we went. Our girl was playing in a fairly empty park (only the small dog area was being played in) so we were the only people in the large dog section. A very nice older man came in with his 11 month old chocolate lab and both girls were happy to play. Unfortunately for some reason after a few moments the girls decided they didn’t want to get along and tried to start a scuffle. We both grabbed our dogs and made sure both were okay, the gentleman even apologized for his pup (it wasn’t needed dogs will be dogs and both girls were okay and unharmed) we both leashed our dogs and walked separately to leave. I don’t know how other fights have turned out as we tend to only go during the week when people are working and the park is less crowded as to avoid overwhelming our pup until she is more familiar with the park. The only ‘complaint’ we have is it’s sad to see not everyone picks up after their dogs when they poo. It’s a very nice and well maintained park and we were very happy to see a watering station and toys are provided...

The park itself is nice, the trails to walk are beautiful. But the people….yeah this park is a huge NOPE for us after several visits we can officially call it quits cause the dog owners do not pay attention to there aggressive dogs OR they yell at any dog or owner that goes near there dog. Poop everywhere and IF it is picked up they leave the bright pink bags scattered everywhere on the ground. Too many small puppies getting trampled by big dogs, big dog owners not able to let their dogs play normally due to having to stop them from being to rough with the small dogs/puppies CONSTANTLY. You literally have to follow your dog around within a few feet or another owner will yell at you and your dog. Male dogs not fixed and owners allowing them to hump and standing there laughing when other owners are trying to stop it.( apparently quite a few litters have come because of this park) Dogs left alone and unattended in small dog side constantly. Parking lot has constant car breakins and overall this is a nice park but the people ruined it and the atmosphere is constantly...

Went to the small dog park with my 6 lb schnoodle and my 45 lb working dog, bc mix, she doesn't want to be social, just want to get the ball and be unbothered with other dogs, theywere playing having a good time and a gsd, puppy, wanted to play with the schnoodle, he crawled under the fence went after him, he just wanted to play but my dog is so tiny, 1 step would hurt him, he was just being a puppy but he was so excited, I picked up my dog so he wouldn't get hurt, and the puppy started jumping on me trying to get at him, the owner was elderly and not very fast, kept assurring me he's not aggressive, sir, dogs are dogs! I had to hold my dog above my head so he couldn't get him, he was snapping at him, not trying to hurt him, but 1 bite could kill him. No one got hurt, but ruined the mood and got my clothes dirty. The park soil has sand so it's really messy. The area was clean, no random poop, so...

UPDATE: With recent dog attacks on the rise I’ve been cautious about bringing my dogs here! I would recommend AVOIDING this dog park for a while! A lot of untrained aggressive dogs and terrible owners!! It’s clear that people purchased puppies at the start of COVID and NEVER bothered to socialize or train their dogs to others. A lot of dog attacks and owner that don’t care at all/refused to give contact information after their dog bites other dogs and people! Make sure you record terrible dogs and owners and post so everyone can avoid!!! Great place to bring the pups! Fully enclosed fencing with large and small dog areas. Poop bags are posted throughout the park and waste bins too. Usually great people and friendly dogs but on the odd chance, I have experienced rude humans and aggressive snapping dogs.

Almost always other dogs here for my herding-motivated dog to chase. Huge area for dogs who love to run, and a smaller area for small or shy dogs. There's a water spout in each area, and the large dog one has a raised platform. Both have trees and some benches for human comforts, and an assortment of water dishes. Poo bags are provided, and the dispensers are always full. Only downside is that the ground is somewhat sandy, and gets very muddy after a PNW rainy day. Don't wear clothes you can't get wet or muddy if it's been raining at all recently, and be prepared for it to be bath day. (Dog in photo was black and white an hour before.)

Wow, this place was PACKED on Sunday! Granted, it was a beautiful sunny (albeit cold) day following a long storm, so everyone and their dog were anxious to get out. My pup raced around for 2 hours with perhaps 50 other dogs and had an absolute blast. The large dog area is bigger than most dog parks on the peninsula with plenty of water bowls and picnic tables to accommodate the crowd. Only issue was parking, the lot was entirely full and overflowing onto the street. Be careful walking in traffic with your pups if you end up parked far away.
