I've been to Kitsap Physical Therapy for two different reasons in the past few years. Most recently, after 6 months of increasing pain in my left shoulder blade and the back of my neck, tension headaches and loss of sleep. I was pretty sure I pulled my trapezus muscle and had been through all the things I knew how to do. KPT got me in for evaluation the day after I was referred by my pain management doctor! They worked with my schedule to get me the maximum amount of care. I saw Christian and Chris regularly for 5 weeks. They worked well as a team to show me both things I could do at home AND at the YMCA. The stretching, muscle strengthening and massages did wonders! I liked how the small exercises built into harder ones as my body became more capable. Everyone at KPT is kind and helpful. My daughter was also seeing Christian and Chris for lower back pain about the same time as me. She agrees the treatment there was top notch! They are great about sending both text and email appointment reminders. I like that! My first time I was there was for hip pain. It was only a step in my journey to finally having hip replacement surgery, but the staff at KPT did everything to get me the lowest impact exercises to try and help me elevate that pain. The therapy pool was really the only place I could work. Scheduling the pool was challenging because it was during the peak of Covid but they they always made sure to offer it to me if it were cancelations that could work with my schedule. I really can't imagine going anywhere else for my PT needs. My left knee is going to be replaced in the next couple years and I already know where I will be going for post surgery...
Read moreIn 2003 I injured my right shoulder and I did not tell anyone about it until after I got out of the military. In 2010 an MRI showed I had torn my labrum and a cyst had developed in the area, surgery was suggested but I couldn’t miss 6 months of work for the recovery. I just learned to keep dealing with the pain. In 2018 I injured my lower bag on a squat machine and was told to take it easy and it will heal on its own in 12 weeks. It did not and it was difficult for me to get up after laying flat on my back.
This year I decided to request physical therapy and was blessed with the opportunity to meet Jodi at KPT in Silverdale. Jodi was able to show me everything that I needed to know as far as proper stretching, posture and lifting techniques that actually prevent the pain I was used to suffering with.
With Jodi’s help and guidance on how to target and rebuild the muscles I have been neglecting, I am now able to enjoy activities and hobbies that I used to avoid due to the inevitable pain.
The facility was nice, clean and organized and the entire team at Kitsap Physical Therapy and Sports Clinic in Silverdale made it feel inviting, comfortable and safe.

Read moreKitsap Physical Therapy is the clinic I have gone to twice now. The staff is friendly, mannerly, and professional. Kitsap Physical Therapy is diverse in many aspects of healing, from Aquatic Therapy to Chronic Pain Treatment, Geriatric Therapy to Pediatric Therapy, and everything in between. Shout out to Steve Goldrick; he is my go-to guy. Steve has a friendly bed-side manner and is very supportive; he's willing to try different things in PT to see if something works out correctly; if not, he'll go to something else and try that. I think anyone needing physical therapy would benefit from Kitsap Physical Therapy. They have several locations to choose from. The clinic I use is located in Silverdale, WA. at 2400 NW Myhre Rd Silverdale, and for anyone who is not familiar with the area, they are near Lowe's Home Improvement, Costcos, and The Doctors Clinic Salmon Medical Center. The Only Downside to the Silverdale Clinic is they share a parking lot with several other businesses such as Farmers Insurance and, the parking lot can get full fast. "Support our...
