I re-joined the Actors' Center several years ago when I decided to return to acting after a long hiatus. I thought, if nothing else, it would be a touchstone as I attempted to re engage with the business. Was I ever surprised at what I found, the AC is all grown up! There are classes and seminars and general auditions to mention just a few of the benefits of membership. There is a daily hotline with specific auditions and notices that I get with my coffee every morning. It is a serious clearinghouse and resource for actors at all levels. I was fortunate to recently get an audition slot at their winter auditions and was very impressed with how smoothly this effort was carried out, not to mention the large number of industry job creators who audited the event in search of new talent. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the quietly superb job Ms. Ginger Moss does in overseeing and administering the AC. I have no doubt this organization would be a mere shadow of itself without the involvement and guidance that Ginger has provided over the many years she has been with the Actors' Center.
