Four stars for atmosphere because I wanted a place to sit and work on my laptop but ThreeFifty (why is it spelled out) has no outlets available to customers as far as I could tell. They do have lots of tables inside and out, so just make sure to charge up before you set up shop there.
I got a slice of vegan pumpkin bread. Loved it. Very moist, light, and not too sweet. They had some other vegan pastries I can't remember but note here to raise awareness. Also got a cold brew and can't remember specifics, but it got the job done.
update: had a slice each of the vegan apple zucchini (wow, is that really how we've been spelling zucchini?) and chocolate beet loaves. apple zucchini is my favorite by far, keeping with the light and moist tradition but with a delightfully refreshing flavor to boot. chocolate was a little dry and crumbly so not my favorite...
Read moreCozy coffeeshop on U street with scrumptious quiches! With at least a dozen flavors to choose from, I'm glad I got the Tomato Mozzarella while my hubby went with the Bacon Onion Cheddar and Chocolate Croissant. We enjoyed the savory quiches and pastries with our Mocha and Cappuccino using illy coffee. The decadent Chocolate Chip Cookie was so moist and divine - taste like cookie dough. Definitely go for it!
The server was a bit grumpy. The quiches and sweet chocolate chip cookie made up for the sour service.
The local coffeeshop is hidden and low-key, tucked away with a nice neighborhood vibe. The seating is cozy with stools and small tables for 2 with more spacious seating outside, great for pups! There's also a dog park on S Street a block away.
Will come again and bring our pup when it's warmer out for some quiche and head over to the dog...

It's at 17th and U Street in the basement of a building. The inside is small, but they try to maximize the space with seating. There's three four-person bar seating options with outlets to plug into and two individual two seat tables. If the weather is good, they'll put out 8-10 two person tables outside.
This bakery is known for a wide spread of fresh baked goods and they don't disappoint. Whether it's a pumpkin cream muffin to a chocolate croissant to a cranberry scone, they bake it all the morning of and all is tasty. Grab a latte (so good!) to compliment their pastries.
