During my recent visit to the park, I was disappointed to find it in a rather dirty state. Trash was scattered everywhere, creating an unsightly and unappealing environment for visitors. Additionally, the sight of dead fish along the river was distressing.
It is disheartening to witness a park that fails to maintain cleanliness and preserve the natural beauty of its surroundings. Not only does it detract from the overall experience for visitors, but it also poses potential harm to the ecosystem and local wildlife.
I strongly encourage the park management to address this issue promptly. Regular clean-ups, increased maintenance efforts, and properly disposing of waste can greatly enhance the park's overall appearance and ensure a more enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
I urge fellow park-goers to bring attention to these concerns. By expressing our disappointment and the need for improvement through platforms such as social media and review websites, we can collectively advocate for positive changes. Let's work together to emphasize the importance of maintaining clean and inviting parks that promote a harmonious relationship between visitors and nature.
Ultimately, my hope is that the park management will take these concerns seriously and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation promptly. It is crucial that parks are well-maintained to provide a safe, welcoming, and visually appealing environment for...

Read moreWhat a great environment for the whole !!! Across from Hathaway Elementary School. Has in park BBQ grills, gazebos, playground, and a pickle ball court on the upper part of the park. There is also a walking path for those who enjoy a quiet walk with your dog or better half. If you are now to like boating or just a soul who enjoys a quiet place to wet your feet, the lowest part of the park has a boat ramp that goes into the Washougal river. The boating ramp also has another playground and long dirt walking paths. There are a few outhouses for your bathroom needs but I have found that they unfortunately lack soap or hand sanitizers. All together though, this park has almost everything one would want...
