Washougal Community Center last Friday of the month is $5 Senior breakfast. What you get is 2 hotcakes, orange juice, coffee, scrabbled eggs, half slice of ham. 2 different kinds of syrups, sugar free and regular. Salt, pepper and cubed butter. Wonderful, kind seniors who prepare, serve the meal. Well worth going, my friend and I go around 8:30a. I think they open at 7ish, til 10a. We usually eat and go but this time we stayed till 10a, they were giving away painted rocks. Sometimes there will be free breads or puzzles, cat and dog food. Never know what it will be. I had accidentally made an appointment for going inside the library and when I road my bike to let them know I needed to cancel it at the last minute I was told, “Thanks for letting us know and that’s ok.
