Octopi Ink — Local services in Washougal

I’ve had over a dozen tattoos in my life, and Octopi Ink was the best/most fun/comfortable experience I’ve had.

First, after reaching out to Jo, they were extremely responsive, friendly and enthusiastic about my initial design. When I needed guidance, they helped me come up with a design that was perfect, even when I was indecisive about imagery.

Jo also had a very careful touch when putting in lines and explained every step of the process (and first time clients, this is your person!). As someone with high anxiety, Jo always checked in to make sure I was comfortable. For technique, the line work was clean and the shading was perfect.

ALSO! Jennie (shop co-owner) was extremely friendly and fun to be around. She had great advice, tips, and I can’t wait to get a coverup from her in the future. The shop was CLEAN, cozy and I was oven offered fresh figs during the middle of my appointment.

I will definitely be back for another piece. I’ve had tattoos from toxic, problematic men in the past, and this shop is the antithesis of people like that.

I had stopped into Octopiink to talk about getting a crescent moon tattoo. I changed my mind several times. I spoke with Jo in regards to what I wanted. She was very patient and listened carefully to what I wanted. She was very meticulous, took her time and did an awesome job. I couldn't be happier with the results. The tattoo studio is very clean and Jo helped me to feel very relaxed. She also did a touchup from a previous tattoo. I would highly recommend Jo. I got a tattoo done at the beginning of August and I needed to have touch ups done so that my tattoo would be complete. I reached out to try and reschedule several times and told the artist that I have the exact same days off every week and that they could put me down for anytime and I would make anytime they gave me work. each time I was contacted to schedule me on days that I didn’t have off and ended up having to go to a different shop to have my tattoo finished.
