Personally, I don't think it is worth doing all the strenuous steep uphill only for this. I was very disappointed when I arrived and realized that from the view dock you cannot actually see the fall! You can see the river, road and parking lot though, but the views are not that great. I only recommend coming up here if you are doing the hike to the other falls, as this is on the way and it is just a small and short detour from the main trail. Otherwise, the views of the fall are way better from the bottom and from the bridge. Finally, be aware the distance is wrong, although at the start of the trail it says 1 mile, it is closer to 1 1/4, which might not seem too much of a difference, but being as steep as it is believe me it does! Our girls really wanted to quit and turn back and even teared up a bit😢, but we took a few breaks and we kept telling them "don't quit, we're almost there, you can do this". Needless to say, we made it all the way to the top and they were so proud of themselves.
