Iconic ridge dividing the upper and lower Multmonah falls. From the parking lot the trail is a bit steep and narrow but you can reach the bridge in 10 minutes and it is well worth it to take excellent close-up pictures of the upper falls. I recommend coming here early in the morning to avoid crows and have a better experience. If you keep going up the trail you eventually reach the top of the falls, which in my opinion are not worth it as it is too long, steep and the views from up above are not worth it, as you cannot see the falls and only the parking lot, highway and Columbia river.

We were driving from Seattle back to Sacramento, California. We decided to stop by here on the way back. It didn't say anywhere that we had to reserve and pay for the tickets. You can only enter at a certain time and we couldn't stay there long because we had a long way back home.

Just tackled the hike to the top of Multnomah Falls - what a workout! The trail's no joke with its steep climb and about 11 switchbacks. But man, the views are worth it! There's this super clean creek up top that's pretty cool to see.

Fair warning: if you're not used to regular exercise, that 1-mile climb might leave you winded.

Pro tip: bring water! It's a great little hike if you're looking for a quick nature fix near Portland. Definitely a spot to hit up if you're in the area and up for a bit of...

The accessibility of Multnomah Falls is A short walk from the parking area leads you to the iconic Benson Bridge, offering a close-up view of the falls. The bridge itself is an architectural gem and an excellent spot for photography.
