Garage B Events at The Speedway — Local services in Boston

This review is long overdue! When searching for a venue, we were looking for an industrial aesthetic with the flexibility to use our own vendors, and Garage B checked all the boxes. We absolutely loved this space. It’s the perfect blank canvas for any occasion, and we appreciated the freedom to incorporate multiple unique vendors. For our wedding, we had a taco stand, an ice cream truck, a caricature artist, and a raw bar—all of which made for a memorable experience.

What stood out most was the ability to blend Asian traditions with a modern twist, creating a day that truly reflected us. A unique feature of Garage B is the garage doors, which you can utilize creatively to enhance the event's flow and aesthetic.

Jenna was wonderful to work with—she was highly responsive, supportive, and instrumental in bringing our vision to life.

The only small challenge was our guest count. We were the first to host 200 guests in the space, which created an intimate and romantic atmosphere, but guests were seated quite close together. For future events, I would recommend a guest count closer to 150-180 for a bit more breathing room.

Garage B was the perfect venue for our wedding! It offered us the freedom to customize the event however we wanted, and it was such a thrill to watch the space transform from a blank canvas into a warm, bright space.

There was plenty of space for our 140 guests, and the indoor/outdoor venue was perfect to give guests the option of partying inside or taking a break outside. Plus with half our guests from out of town and half from Brighton, we loved that it was both a quick drive from downtown and also on local bus lines!

The event coordinator Jenna was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, and consistently checked in with us and swiftly answered any questions that came up. We had no issues bringing in catering, lighting, rentals, or any vendors - We even had multiple vendors comment on how unique the space was and how great it was to work in! My husband and I originally found Garage B through a gallery from our photographer and instantly knew it was the right place for our wedding. We loved the flexibility of the space, especially since so many other venues require you to work with specific vendors and caterers. It was truly the perfect place to have the kind of wedding we wanted– fun, intimate, somewhat casual, and very personal. And the party, with a band and disco balls, was exactly what we had envisioned. We last minute decided to add The Annex space to our reservation, which made getting ready for the event and first look photos even easier.
