There’s a reason why gamestop is going out of business and its not just cause the company itself, but the employees are a problem as well. Went to pick up 2 online order and the employee (who was just smiling and laughing with his coworker) just gives an annoyed face when i come up to the register asking help for my online order. Like I didnt even know if he was helping me cause he didnt say nothing when I told what im here for. Anyway the whole time he’s “helping” me he gives off a “damn i gotta work now” face/attitude. He asks whats my order and i told him im here to pick up two games, but bro just let me give you my gamestop account and youll just see it -_- Then he tells me that only one game is ready for pick up and i asked what happened to the other game that was ready two days for. He tells me they must have sold out before they could whatever BS he gave. Also both games still says ready for pick up even after picking up the game. Honestly believe that the game is available or some employee is just holding it or took it since its the last copy and it was on sale, but either way shouldnt they have the item ready before sending an email saying my order is ready? Its not a big deal if the game isnt available its just that if i had known the game wasnt available i would have just gone to a gamestop way closer to me than me making a 20-25 min drive to this terrible and joke of a store. Read moreThe customer service here is horrible. There wasn’t a manager there to assist when two young employees didn’t know what to do. What seems like common sense is apparently not these days. I went to pick up an order that I had ordered online. I had the email confirmation, my debit card and a picture of my license since I did not have it on me. They refused to give me the item without a physical license, mind you this item cost $18 and wasn’t a video game but rather an accessory. I then said I would cancel my online order and purchase the one in store, but they would not honor the online price which was on sale. I had proof of purchase and everything. Later that day I called back and asked the same exact question and they told me that I can return it and get my money back no problem. Once I told them that I was just there a couple hours ago.
