SUPERCUTS — Attraction in Weehawken

I made a very simple and specific request shave the sides down with a 4 razor and just cut off the split ends from the top. So easy almost anyone could do it. the lady shaved the sides and the back, which was where the problems started. She then trimmed half my beard and shaped half of my head. She then asked if I wanted my hair blow dried to which I said no. She then kept saying "just a little" to which i once again said no. To my astonishment she grabbed the blow drier and proceeded to completely blow dry my hair. Ok so now it was time for her to trim my split ends, looking back I should have stopped her right there because what happened next was horrid. Instead of cutting off my split ends which would have maybe been half an inch of my hair she decided to lop off a whopping 2 inches of my hair. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!! She only cut that off from the very front everything else on top she left at its original 5 inches without touching it. Learn from my mistakes DO...

I went to this salon expecting a simple trim—just one finger’s length off and a trim of my bangs. When I mentioned this, the stylist suggested a butterfly cut, and I agreed, hoping for a nice change. Unfortunately, the result was very disappointing. She cut much more than I asked for, especially in the front, and when she blow-dried my hair, I could see the uneven, messy cut. I honestly don’t understand what kind of technique was used, but it left my hair looking quite bad. When I mentioned my concerns, she said it would look better once my hair grows out. That’s not really helpful when you’re leaving the salon unhappy with your haircut. I regret trusting the positive reviews and wish I had been more cautious. I visited this place on 5/7/2021. Absolutely terrible lady. She was the Indian lady with longer hair. I asked her to cut my hair so it would maintain its 'messy' hairstyle. She then proceeds to cut my hair where it is about 1" long or less. She then says - oh, this looks much better anyways. I don't care if I look like Brad Pitt (which I don't); but, if I ask for something - I would expect to be given that. Then, she has to trim everything around my head to make it look even - so, I end up looking like I just left the Buddhist monastery one month ago. I still tipped her $10 ... why? Because, I'm not a jerk; but, this is absolutely atrocious. At least try the other lady out - but, avoid the Indian lady...
