I'm revising my review due to the salon's unaccommodating response. Hani carelessly yanked my toenails during a gel pedi, causing bleeding without any apologies. The next morning, both big toes were infected, and I couldn’t walk without pain for two days. When I returned for a refund, they offered no apologies and a dismissive "it is what it is" attitude. I received a partial refund but their lack of concern was appalling. Avoid this salon at all costs.
UPDATE per Hani’s response: I DID BLEED when I got a pedicure because I asked for a tissue to wipe the blood after. (Check the cameras if there’s a recording) Hani was not present when I went back for complaint so I never got the apology. The other employee said “put on some ointment” and handed me the partial refund after confirming infection without apology. It should not be normalized to get injured after a pedicure and fall on customers to just deal with it. I’ve gotten many pedicures in various salons and this never happened to me. There was too much physical force that led to an open wound on my toes. Proper vendor should be responding with an apology followed by potential resolution to the problem. Yet, Hani Salon’s attitude was rather dismissive, defensive, and rude. Salon’s unprofessionalism is appalling in their customer service and the craftsmanship is mediocre. Don’t waste your money...
Read moreI was very disappointed by the pedicure I got by a lady called Hani. I've made an appointment for 2pm a week in advance, I arrived on time, and the lady was on the phone when I came in. She told me to go to the chair, once she put the water in the tub she asked me if I could wait a couple of minutes, I was like sure. But then she disappeared for like 10 min and didn't start working on my pedicure until 20min from my original appointment time. On top of that she was rushing the job, was very rough on my nails, taking off the gel, especially while filing them, and cutting the cuticles. My last two toes were hurting even during the appointment, she overfiled them. Now, a day after the pedicure, it still hurts! I hope I don't get any swelling or infection. I was really excited about visiting this place and splurging on spa pedicure as I've been working a lot and this place is in my neighborhood. I might give it another try but not with...
Read moreThe place was cute and super clean. The ladies were nice too. My nails came out super cute as well. I’m only disappointed by how long my nails lasted. I got gel x and I felt like the nails were very thin and bended easily. In the first 5 days, one popped off and now 2 weeks later all of them are off. I get gel x religiously and that’s never happened.
To reply to the owner. You offered Apres GelX, not the off brand product you used on me. Like I told you when you asked, all I get is gelx. So yes, the Apres nails are a lot more sturdier than what you provided. And if applied correctly and with the right products they last up to 4 weeks or longer with minimal to no lifting. They should not be popping...
