Rotisserie On Park — Restaurant in Weehawken

We ordered (take out) last night, a little on the later side. Hoping we could get some good “real” food. We called and spoke to Hannah. She was absolutely lovely! So kind & accommodating!

I apologized- as I had the hiccups. But I was starving and needed to call and get some food right away. (She made me feel at ease and assured me she had my back!)

The food came pretty quickly. But our awe was in the presentation and sweet messages on the bag, and on my complimentary cup of mango juice. (She said was for my hiccups!)

The Food. SO fresh. SO plentiful. SO flavorful. It was like a family member (who loves you more than life) made it special, just for you!

We ate and delighted in the experience! Noting how amazing the chicken was… then the cornbread… the pitta bread that came with my uber fresh Greek salad… even the beets and coleslaw…. everything was better than the last thing we tried. #mindblown

The chicken is hit or miss, which for a rotisserie takeout place is not really acceptable. The sides are always really good, but the real gem here is the gyro and seasoned fries. The service is awful though. Guy at the counter had no greeting, just played on his phone. Didn't use gloves when he handled my food (people use their phones while on the toilette so would been nice to use gloves or wash hands). He didn't say thank you, just handed it to me in cold silence. My advice would be to hire someone who can at least pretend that they want to be there and act like they appreciate your business. With so many great take out places around, this one is unfortunately an easy pass for now on.

• UPDATE * Excellent management. Clearly strives to fix flaws and makes things right. Employee referred to was trained. Most companies would never take any action, so very impressive. Also, company website offers 10% discount on all orders. Never...

Had one delivery order from here. Pork ribs were alright, some were tender and others weren’t as well. Sauce felt like the typical one for pork rib, so nothing missing but just not my spot-on preferred flavor. Although I enjoyed what I got, not sure if I’d get the pork rib again.

Still got the impression that they cook and prepare their menus properly so I’m curious about their chicken for my future try.

UPDATE: changed from 4 star to 3 star as I tried their fried chicken. Fried surface was well crispy and meats were overall juicy although it varied by parts. However, the problem was that my god fried batter was extremely salty for me, just too much. So I had to cook remaining portion with veggies and rice, creating my own dish. And weirdly the chicken kept making me use restroom couple hrs after having it, although it wasn’t breaking my stomache or anything like that. Just made my stomache much...
