We went this past weekend for the Nutcracker Ballet. It was absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful ballet. This was my first time in the convention center and I loved the auditorium where we watched the ballet. Plus, the decorations were fabulous. However, at intermission we went to the restroom and I have to say, I was appalled. There was urine or feces (or both) on every single toilet seat I checked on. I finally had to grit my teeth and clean it off myself before putting a cover down and using the restroom. If I didn't have to go so bad I wouldn't even have stepped into the stall. There were at least two other company Christmas parties going on the same time as the ballet and there should have been more staff on to continually check the restrooms, especially right before the ballet went into intermission. Read moreVery classy nexus of local culture. Throughout the year there's always a bunch of plays, dancers, musical acts, and a few times a year they show fun classic movies, Monte Python and the Holy Grail in particular was an unexpected blast.
They have a yearly Christmas tree show that is fun, games set up every Halloween and a big annual food fair called A Taste of Wenatchee that we just caught for the first time this year and hope to return next year--it was great!
