J.P. Haase Jewelers — Attraction in West Allis

I highly recommend J.P. Haase Jewelers. They treat you as family, don’t push any sale, and if you are interested in a purchase, will work within your budget to get something you will walk away happy with. After visiting multiple stores in the Milwaukee area, including some of the big names and being disappointed by the limited selection and some pushy staff, I was excited to find a genuine small business that put customer satisfaction first. I purchased an engagement ring from J.P. Haase and they had nothing to hide. Vince and his dad continued to bring in diamonds until I found the perfect one. Vince kept his microscope and hearts and arrows viewer handy so that I could always review everything in detail. He had all the GIA reports and showed me the matching numbers were etched on the edge of the diamond girdle. The staff at J.P. Haase did a great job working with my fiance to narrow down what she was looking for in a engagement band. They then took my custom ring design from CAD, reviewed and revised it with me to get exactly what I wanted, and created a unique piece of art that turned out better than I could have hoped for. A few weeks after receiving the ring, my fiance forgot to take it off for a woodworking project and spilled stain on her ring which would not wash off. Fortunately the staff at J.P. Haase knew exactly how to clean it and had it looking good as new after a quick visit...

I first met Vince when I was directed to J.P. Haase Jewelers when shopping for an engagement ring. His above and beyond service and warm personality made the process enjoyable, and our mutual interests has made him a friend.

After picking out the ring, I returned to also get my wedding ring, my (now) wife's wedding ring, earrings for her wedding gift, watch for me, and a necklace as an "extra" wedding gift. This entire process went SO well that I returned to get a ring to match the wedding ring to surprise my wife with a 3 stack for our 5th anniversary, only to find out it was discontinued, but Vince took care of getting an identical custom made, all of them soldered together, and returned under the guise of "Hon, we need to have your jewelry cleaned while we're in town."

Here we are, 9 years and 2200 miles away later, and I can still count on Vince to set me up with a one of a kind Mother's Day ring without even being there in person because I know it'll be exactly what I'm looking for.

The only reason I'll ever buy jewelry anywhere else is because I no longer have the capability of communication, or JPH closes their doors, neither of which I envision happening...

Thanks to Haase for providing exceptional, high quality, personal service at a fair price. I had some custom work that I needed done quickly including selecting a loose diamond, setting it in a new platinum band and joining with an existing ring, which needed significant modification. Haase was one of the few local jewelers who could accommodate what I needed within my tight schedule and was also by far the most reasonable price-wise. They were able to quickly procure a band and several loose diamonds for me to consider based on my very specific requirements (e.g. hearts and arrows cut, etc.). The staff were all great -- especially the owner, Joe, who reminds me a favorite uncle. He clearly gets to know and appreciates all his customers. He’s obviously a seasoned expert but, even more importantly, he is honest (he correctly and objectively accessed the diamonds and did not try to sell me the one he'd make the most money on) and very particular about workmanship (he pointed out a very small imperfection that I never would have even noticed in one part of the work that he had sent out for specialized laser welding and he volunteered to send it back to be...
