I normally go here to get my nails done and every once in a while i will get my eyebrows waxed. Today i went and got my nails done then decided to have my eyebrows waxed, the lady came in and im not sure if she is new or what but she had me lean back in the chair. My hair was in a higher pony tail and i just got my hair cut and colored last week so it’s slightly longer then shoulder length. I also took off my sunglasses that were on my head so they didn’t get in the way. The lady starts trimming my eyebrows then says “oooooo oh no” she starts messing with my ponytail. Then she starts giggling saying my hair was in the pot of wax. She goes and gets a paper towel with baby oil on it and wraps it around a good chunk of my hair, leaves it there then continues to wax my eyebrows. The other lady receptionist comes in and the wax lady tells her what happened and that they need to move the chair away from the wax. The receptionist lady says “you are supposed to move it before starting” then the receptionist walks out and comes back it with more paper towels with some sort of soap on it and starts vigorously rubbing the chunk of hair. I kept telling her i would just deal with it when i got home because she was ripping my hair out and then finally got her to stop. I walked up to the front to pay for my nails thinking there was no way they were going to make me pay for the eyebrows since my hair now has a clump of wax on it and it was their fault but no they still charged me for the full price of my nails and the full price of the eyebrow wax. So just a heads up for anyone else who wants to get your eyebrows done here…. Make sure they pull the chair away from the hot pot of wax thats sitting on the table directly behind...
Read moreI went in today around 1pm for the photo pictured and the guy said he could do it. The photos of MY nails that you see are the results of me sitting in there for over 3 hours (I left at 4:30) with my daughter and having to ask them to fix it 3 different times. Finally, the last person who touched my nails did way better than the first guy but it is nowhere near the inspiration photo. To fix what the first guy did, he had to sand them down and completely reshape and lessen the length (which is good because I again, I asked for the inspiration picture), and remove the airbrush “ombré”. When the first guy did the airbrush, he told me to wash my hands because he was done. He didn’t file the sides or remove the extra acrylic that was under the nails until I asked. There was a lump in the top coat and hair that I had to ask him to remove or it would be pictured too. The last guy did offer to airbrush the tips again but after over 3 hours and a hungry 13 year old, I declined because it was nowhere near what I wanted. I called tonight and asked that being I paid $82 for what I got and being it included a design and length, could I just get my length and design money back and they keep the $56 for a full set and after he told me I shouldn’t have left, he declined any reimbursement because I actually should’ve been charged MORE. My fingers bled in numerous places, are swollen around the nails and look like I have toothpicks with no apex. Needless to say, I won’t...
Read moreMy daughter and I went in last for pedicures and I also wanted a regular manicure. We were both seated quickly. A young lady came out and quickly started my daughter’s pedicure. Several minutes later a young lady came and asked me which pedicure I wanted. I told her the sugar scrub and she left. She was gone for some time but finally started my pedicure. Mean time my daughter is almost done getting hers. The young lady doing mine never introduced herself so I don’t know her name. I was asked again if I wanted the manicure. I said no because my daughter was now waiting on me. The young lady that was coordinating asked me again about manicure I told her no and why. She said my toes had to dry and it wouldn’t take too long so I agreed. She had the same girl that did my pedicure do the manicure. I was left in the pedicure chair, hands were soaked one at a time for a few minutes in warm water with rose petals. My cuticles were pushed back, then ripped off and I was asked if I wanted my nails shaped up. I had to ask for clear polish and was then charged $30. My nails are rough and all shaped differently. I ended up ripping the end of a nail off due to the roughness. It is by far the worse manicure and pedicure I have ever had. I paid for my daughters so had to leave a tip. I actually sent them an email first and never received a response. I will not...
