The ideal place for hikers who are into shorter hikes. Not for the beginner hiker. Also trying to keep this place preserved as much as possible so do what the signs tell you, "Keep on the trail" and nature will keep thriving the way it has been. One last thing, at the very top there's a plethora of boulders kinda resembling a big mound and beside it you will see a bowl crater with intimidating rock faces w/ a small firepit in the center and if you look right above it all the way up on top of that cell tower there's an Osprey nest. Just awesome!!! There is a way to climb down into the crater like land feat. Just below the osprey sign. Again, not for thebeginner hikers! Be careful and be mindful of the nature around you if you decide to visit this wonderful...

An Osprey nest is atop a communications(?) tower, and you may hear the big birds...

There is a helpful printed brochure to take on your walk that points out helpful features and gives information about the local vegetation and wildlife.
Last time I was here I saw: deer, osprey, robins, crows, finches, duck, trilliums, and camassia lilies.
Great for the families that enjoy walking in nature but the trails do have: steps, rocks, barkdust, dirt, and wooden walkways so no strollers or...
