Hammerle Park — Attraction in West Linn

This is a rather large park, with an ADA accessible play structure for older kids, standalone swings, and another structure and two swings more suited for toddler aged kiddos. The splash pad is epic, with natural looking basalt pillars, many streams of water and lots of area to run through. I can really appreciate that the surface is grippy for imbalanced runners and there is a ramp down into the water area but also a nice curb to sit on that won't get wet, for parents who want to stick close by. It would be nice if there were more picnic tables or benches nearby for parents to sit on, as it can be hard to find a supported seat here. There is also a large field for sports and a covered picnic area that has been in use every single time I've been at this park. (Usually for summer camps). This park is awesome for families with kids.

I like this book a lot. It's easy to find because it's right off the main road but it's back enough that you don't have to worry about your kids running out to the street. There is a variety of options for every age group. They have an exceptional play structure that caters to both middle age children and younger kids. The water park area is awesome because they have a variety of different types but none of them spray so fully that you can't run in and grab your child from a dry spot almost anywhere in the fountain. They have a nice covered picnic area and Fields for ballgames.

The only problem that I had it the whole park was when my one-year-old climbed on the play structure and my two-year-old ran over to the high slides it was difficult for me to chase both.

I love hammerle park for over thirty eight years but now that I am disabled I can't get around it I can't use a scooter unless I go by the fountain thing cause they took the pool out and I can't use my walker cause there are no walkways to walk on in the park they really need to fix it up for disabled persons so I can go with my youngest granddaughter and enjoy ,I thought by law it was suppose to be by law that places are able for disabled persons why not...
