I had high hopes based on reviews, but sadly this was by far the worst mani/pedi I’ve received in my life. No exaggerating.
I truly wish I could get a refund, and wish I had felt comfortable saying so when they asked for payment. Instead I didn’t want to be confrontational, and just wanted to leave. So in turn I paid more for a mani/pedi than I ever have to date, and left less satisfied than I’ve ever been from one before.
Pedicure: They stopped part way through having me soak my feet to have me do my manicure instead. Once they were ready to restart the pedicure they had me soak my feet in the freezing cold, 1-hour old water they had originally filled the basin with when I arrived. They offered to put in fresh hot water. I said, “yes please.” They walked away and never refreshed the water. Then they sat down and started in on the pedicure without a word after letting my feet soak in cold water for 10 minutes - I asked for fresh hot water when they started to only then have them fill it with scalding hot water. During the pedicure, they used painfully hot towels that burned my legs enough that I had a red burn around my ankle later that day still.
Manicure: My nails came out lumpy and unevenly shaped, and within a week the hard gel itself had dings and chips along the edges and started lifting from 3 nails. They didn’t use the color I asked for - black with green glitter on top - so I walked out with green (only) nails. They applied decals to my nails without disclosing the additional cost - they were applied so poorly there are visible lumps on each nail from the decals not being smoothed down. They upsold me on type of nail without disclosing what the increased cost is, and when applying the hard gel, my nail quicks became burned - the nail tech just chuckled and said “that happens” when I pointed out how painful it was.
In the end I paid nearly $200 for nails and a pedicure that I wouldn’t have paid $50 for.
Really wish i could...
Read moreI got the groupon for my mom, two sisters, and me and we got our nails done on Saturday, December 28.
The deluxe pedicures were great and the workers are sweet, but the Deluxe Manicures and Solar Acrylic nails were TERRIBLE!
My mom and sisters' did the deluxe manicure and their nails were already chipped by Monday, December 30. I did the Solar Acrylic nails and she did them very quickly; barely filed my nail down and did not do my cuticles. THREE nails started lifting on Tuesday morning, December 31, and then FOUR nails started lifting on Thursday, January 2. I did nothing between Saturday and Monday that would cause my nails to lift; and on Tuesday and Wednesday night, I went into the hot tub (for like 15 minutes and it is not like I keep my hands in the hot water the whole time, i put my arms up), ate and shopped- which should not have caused my nails to lift.
When I called to get AT LEAST FOUR of my nails redone because they were so bad, the lady said she would have to look at them first and then I asked if it would be free and she said it depends. I canceled my appointment because I did not want to have to pay money to fix something I had...
Read moreThe ladies here are so welcoming - the space is clean and inviting, and they make sure you are well cared for. They have an array of drink options and the products they use smell wonderful. I also appreciate that they ask if you want to add services (like add a mani to your pedi) but they don’t pressure you.
I just went back for a second time in a 30 day period - that’s new for me. I took my little girl with me this time and Kelly made it really special for her. They had a Capri Sun for her to drink, Kelly made sure the clear sparkle polish my daughter picked was really sparkly (she suggested a metallic base layer under it), the ladies were really kind about chatting with her, and Kelly paid attention to my daughter’s favorite colors from their earlier conversation and worked it in to her flower art at the...
